I think that MCC should add a better kit rookie, for example full iron armour with an iron sword. This would rookies a better chance to get kills as I have never seen a rookie get a kill in their current kit. This would also increase the amount of rookies that played kitpvp as there are only about 5 that play it. It wouldn't even have to replace kit rookie. It could be something like /kit pvp and would have the same cooldown as kit rookie.
Hey LeafyTiger24, I completly agree with your idea! As of right now the rookie kit is pretty much useless as everyone has protection 4-5 diamond armour. I believe that new players that come to kitpvp experience not standing a chance against more experienced players which then drives them away from kitpvp. A better kit rookie would balance out the pvp and allow new players/rookies to experience how much fun kitpvp can truly be. -Issel.
Kit is really long overdue for a better kit rookie in my opinion. Golds jump and get 2 hit for the sole purpose of feeding the more experienced players with money and a better kdr. As it stands, kitpvp isn't really a subserver where newbie rookies have any sort of freedom. There are immense limitations as to what they can do in pvp or economically. Of course, rookies do have kit weekly and hourly but there lies the time factor. Kit hourly can last maybe 10 seconds against someone with p4 diamond and they'll have to wait another hour before they can use it again. I personally feel as though a new kit won't help much at all as it will ultimately buy rookies maybe another 10 seconds before they get slaughtered but it still feels like a necessity at this point.
While I fully agree that rookies should have a better kit, they do currently have access to kit hourly and kit weekly. On top of that, if you wait around spawn for any length of time you'll find at least one ranked player dropping loot from their kits.
YES. All the rookies quit because they're one tapped by full diamonds kids. Kit weekly isn't enough in my opinion, and I think they should be able to get the armor in /kit weekly everyday.
I definitely agree that Rookies could use a boosted kit that at least provides a more fair and equitable playing field across the ranks. In general, I feel that Rookies should have more opportunities to get better armor, outside of just using kits. For example, adding envoys to KitPvP would be an opportunity for non-donators to gain an advantage through unlocking chests with rare items. I also believe that keys on KitPvP exacerbate and widen the gap between Rookies and donator rank players, as players that already have a rank make up the majority of Ancient/Myth key buyers. These keys give donors with already powerful kits more coveted items, while Rookies are still stuck with their basic kit. Attempting to balance out this inequity would enhance the overall gameplay of KitPvP for sure!
#Rookielivesmatter I was a Minecraft rookie for 6 years the old rookie kit was a chain chest plate and leather helmet, leggings, and boots and stone sword I never gotten a kill with that
Hey I agree with this, the rookies have a very.. underpowered kit. A lot of kit pvp players have ranks, the rookies obviously can’t go up against someone who’s absolutely stacked.
+1 Hey there. I completely agree with your suggestion. Rookie players have no chance against Donators - and there are just so many Donators! I have Rookie friends, I always have to give them my kits so they can even stand a chance out there on the battlefield! Good suggestion.
Thanks for all the support with this. I hope MCC will consider giving the rookies a better chance in kitpvp.
the old kit in 2016 was a full set of leather armor and a stone sword u think u cant beat people with dat no!!!!!
Hi! Rookies have it really hard.... they should at least give them unenchanted iron armour and boost the lower tier donators to various enchanted iron armour. Although it is hard, what I did to get started (I was coal rank, didn't make much of a difference at all compared to rookie) is to first grind the economy. It sounds boring because you are here for PvP, but after a day or two of scavenging armour from dropped kits and spamming the rookie kit to sell hp pots, I was able to get enough gear to PvP and stand a small chance.
Hi i completely agree with this idea i've seen so many rookies dying in less than 5 seconds. Full iron gear would last them longer and they could get kills with it. So this will be a +1 from me :D have a great day! [Immortal]akaGast Discord:akaGast#0001
Not all rookies are bhoppers/hackers, the majority of rookies are just trying to have fun. To solve the issue of "bhopping" and hacking overall, you would need more staff and active monitoring to make sure hackers don't live long enough to kill any significant amount of people.
Anybody without p4 is completely screwed im going to make a guide for new players lmfao cuz nobody gets kitpvp
