You can connect with 1.8.9 - 1.15. It is recommended to use 1.8.9 on the network besides creative and survival. Its Recommended to use 1.12.2 on those two sub servers.

oh ok also im just saying this but your anticheat only relies on packets? and not movement or combat? thats why so many people hack on this server

    Hey!
I prefer 1.8-1.12.2. Anything above 1.12.2 can cause bugs, and it is a very unstable version of Minecraft. 1.8.9 is what I use and to me it is perfect, and it is very smooth. To me it is the best version for it's smoothness, and it's PvP ability. As Unadvised said, I would recommend to use 1.12.2 on Creative and Survival for they are the smoothest versions for those two sub-servers! Other than that, I would recommend to use 1.8.9 on all other sub-servers, and mini-games. (You can do whatever you want to do though!)

The Anti-Cheat relies on mostly detecting on whether or not your character is moving normally. Like in such, if someone is speeding extremely fast the anti-cheat can detect it and you can get kicked for Malicious Hacks. In ArenaPvP for example, if the anti-cheat detects you reaching then you might get kicked for Malicious Hacks. The Anti-Cheat however does rely on packets, but it also relies on whether or not you are using too many hacks, or your ping is very high. If your ping is above 300, it could kick you because it could seem like you are using Fly. I'm not entirely sure on this, so I wouldn't stick to what I'm saying, but overall I believe this is how it works. There are a lot of posts regarding the anti-cheat on how it doesn't detect any sort of hack, which is the case but they are working on it, and hopefully it'll be released next summer or possibly this summer. (not entirely sure)

A lot of people hack on this server due to the fact of hacking. They have most likely been banned on other servers and this is just the next one on the list. Another reason is the fact that the anti-cheat isn't as strong as for say hypixel's or cubecrafts, but the anti-cheat is strong enough to catch different hackers for I have seen hackers kicked on mini-games and sub-servers. To me the community of MCC is the anti-cheat for I have seen a big bunch of players recording and reporting hackers not only on forums but even on Discord too.

    I hope this helps :D

    Have a nice day!
