At the moment, Survival Plots is one of the most dead or the most dead sub-server. I would play it, but there are a few reasons I don't. I will be listing the reasons I don't, and then a suggestion on how it could be better. 1a: The point of plots is boring. I would like it way more if it was more vanilla. Maybe if they keep survival plots, but have a spinoff of Survival Vanilla. 1b: If they were to add Survival Vanilla, they would nerf the kits. By that, I mean take out all the diamond armor, and the stuff that ruins the point of the grind. Maybe if Immortal rank just gets some money, or food and iron armor, just so the game still has a purpose to grind. 2a: Current survival is more like OP Survival. 2b: The perks for ranks are too good. I understand it's a rank, you bought it for the perks, but it's still survival. Part of the game mode survival is trying to survive. That means needing to eat, create new armor, etc. I think they should just remove all the current perks for ranks, and just revamp it in a less OP way. 1 suggestion for a perk is just a large sell multiplier just like prison. 3a: Currently, Survival is a fishing economy. It took me about 15 minutes to find enough spiders to make a fishing rod. 3b: Maybe instead of a fishing economy, it's a farming, and mining economy. That will make it more survival-like. I'm more skeptical of the mining economy due to x-rayers, but I think it could still work. That's all I could really think of as of now if I think of more I would add it on. Let me know your thoughts on this.
i agree w/ all of what you said and think survival either should change names, or nerf everything to make it more vanilla like. as for xrayers, due to the somewhat inactivity of survival and such it is very easy to use xray without getting caught in “dead hours” of the server as there’s not staff on as much as other subs like prison or factions... and maybe if by next season changes are made it could make survival more popping and for staff to be norte aware of xrayers. :)
