Okay so I know there's a lot of reports team staff and they do their job well. I've been doing a few hack reports in Team Skywars and some take up to 2 days just to get a view, don't get me wrong some are quite swift and only take a few hours. But I feel like we should have more reports team staff because if we have more reports team staff there's a higher chance reports will be read faster. One of my main reasons for making this is that when I report a hacker it just take so long to be read and by time they're banned, they've won hundreds of games. I'm always recording and looking for hackers and a lot of my reports are obvious flyers or scaffolders so it makes it easy to look at the video and ban. I understand if it's a sketchy reach and hard to tell so staff need other opinions but I'd really like those little flyers and scaffolders just banned ASAP. Hello! I see where you're coming from with this idea, and I can see many people agreeing. There has been a delay in reports recently, and I hope (like the rest of us) things get back to normal soon. Regarding your idea, though, I can see a lot of potential problems. There are already 18 staff members on the reports team, making it the second-largest subteam, behind CE. There are a few members who do a lot of reports very frequently (xBenz and Chilo_), some who do a lot but less frequently, and others still who focus on other teams or areas of the server and just deal with whatever's left. If the new recruits on this team end up focusing more on other things, then there won't be much of a difference in terms of report waiting times, and it will just be more work for Teddzy (the team leader) to police. I would much rather have an extremely efficient reports team than a very large one, and perhaps an invite-based system is the way to go about this. Hopefully, with the new AC coming soon, we won't need to worry too much about reporting hackers anyways. Have a great day.
Hello, Like Zonafer said about a small and effective team, instead of big one, I will add one more thing. The report team is only available to mod, and you can't just, press the button "boom report team", or the sorting hat pick your sub-team, instead, you have to earn it (apply). Not all staff members want to be in the report team, some find other teams more fitting for them, and enjoyable. Staff can any time leave their team and join another or do both at the same time. Besides a group of 18 is enough, and having very effective staff members on it. ~Cya!
Hello Dombal! We apologize for the delay in responses to reports but recently they've been stacking up due to current events (quarantine - more hackers / more players subjected to report them). We have indeed added a few members these past few months but not all of our Reports Team members are able to fully dedicate themselves due to real-life complications (work, school, family, etc.). Hopefully, once summer hits we'll all be back on our feet! Also, if you've had a report open for a long time feel free to DM a Reports Team member or say something in #support, but only please do so if you have a build up of pending reports or they've been open (with little to no views because generally if your report has been open for a few days but it has some views on it then we're most likely getting opinions on it) for a long time!
