Time and time again I find myself at a struggle to find a Moderator, Senior Mod, or Helper to get help with a middle man in game, and often times even going into the MCC General Discord or MCC Factions discord I find myself unable to get help. MCC Has a Middle Man option for a reason, so their players can safely trade and donate for the server through in game trades. However this system is broken and examples can be found in the sub server Factions. You will see Helpers and Moderators which specifically deny every user their time to help by being a middle man. I understand staff is not obligated to be a middle man, however the administrators should be keen on making a new title / position of Middle Man of which only focuses on helping the players looking to trade, or at least enforcing and making more of a requirement for mods and helpers to take the time to help other players doing trades if they are taking on the responsibility of those roles. I say this because I see a major disadvantage to all players as Mods and Helpers can join and be within a public faction on the sub-server and which they can have a bias within their faction of helping their faction members with being a middle man but not allowing the other factions with helpers or mods within them be able to do trades. This is a major disadvantage and should be changed, and adding a Middle Man Title / Position in order to negate this issue and constant bias which has been obvious this season within factions. I very much agree with what you have said, I find this issue a lot whilst trying to do irl deals, and most of the helpers/ mods/ snr mods say they dont mm, or dont want to mm. if this becomes a role, I would definitely want to apply for this, hmu
I think this can be a great addition for allowing players to MM. Although tehre should be some verification system to make sure they are trusted and won't scam both users.
This is a Great addition because i mean like look at how hard it is for you or others to find a staff member to do a deal with you and be a mm its just Impossible now! This can be great bc it can mean a lot more deals on mcc
I have seen so many players struggle with trying to find a Middle Man for deals their making. Especially with MCC having large sub-servers such as Factions and Skyblock, there are so many deals players make with each other. I strongly think that with this idea just like they have Staff Sub-teams, they should have something like [SubTeam] MiddleMan.
I do see in #support alot of players asking for a MM, and while I do see a staff member say they will do it, I can imagine some points in time when a staff member won't be available. I say there should be a list of player names on the official discord, that players can ask to MM for them, these players would have been vetted and gone through a check with staff members to ensure they won't scam and and can be free to join after meeting some requirements. Such as a certain amount of messages posted on forums (for staff to determine the type of person that they are about to say "Yeah, you can trust them with your ingame $$" or meeting a type of well-knownness in throughout the network. I like the idea as it opens opportunities for players to show off their level of trust for the staff team and the community alike, along with the idea that one of the staff application questions being the following: (Why can we trust you) And therefore can be another point to be put down during an application submission, which I'm sure a few people would appreciate to be able to write down and have the feeling of knowing that the network trusts them. I do think this would be a great addition to the server and give players a chance to get involved. However as other players have stated they would have to prove they can be trusted as adding this role could also come with issues. Overall, great idea.
