The Good Old Days

I wish I was apart of those days, looks like good times.

 

Seamed like it was a very fun time back then. I'm glad this server still has a sense of community unlike other servers like hypixel.

 

Hello! This thread inspired me to start up my old computer and get some screenshots. The ones below were all taken in 2017. Unfortunately I couldn't find any good screenshots of when I started playing prison and capture the flag, back in 2016.

Dude, good times. I wish I had screenshots from back then but I didn't have enough forethought to take any. Prison seasons one and two were really where it was at, and prison season two felt like it lasted forever. Also, old staff team was pretty cool too. Even though mine had a completely different makeup than yours because it was a year later, it was still the bomb and I have a lot of good memories from then. Truly the good old days.

I remember so much of this! I didn't play subservers back then, but the old staff names and lobby were so nostalgic! Thank you for posting this; those truly were different times.

I totally love this idea as I miss the old mcc so much. I don't know if you remember me as I change my name a lot but I used to play Prison with y'all my username was "Zozeeb0 or Txea" if that rings your bell. This post is giving me nostalgic vibes specially because of prison. Prison is where I started and where I met everyone who I still talk to till this day and I'm truly glad I played it.

Looking at all these pictures everyone takes really makes me wish that I was more sentimental and still had stuff from this time, I've got pretty much nothing to show from my 5+ years here oof.

I still have my old laptop hiding down in the basement but it's been in pieces ever since it broke, and I'm pretty sure the HDD is what broke. So rip ever getting those memories back.

 

Gotta miss the old long lobby. As much as the new one's better in terms of finding everything, nothing could really replace the old one imo.

The nostalgia has not only hit hard for me but by the looks of it, everyone else commenting on this thread. One of my biggest regrets like a few others have said above is not taking any screenshots from back then. I'm the type of person that deletes all photos and screenshots after a certain amount of time anyways. Which now that I think about it, is so, so silly. From now on, I'll be more mindful whenever I take screenshots.

I just so happened to have commented on another thread the other night talking about "favourite sub-servers" and I mentioned all the nostalgia I have for Prison 1.0 and 2.0. I loved the old prison PvP arena, it brings back a lot of memories. Then we've got the old lobby. Like Swinger has said even though the current lobby is technically "better" layout-wise, nothing can ever beat the old lobby. I'm so glad that you've shared these screenshots, thank you.

I honestly don’t remember anything when looking at those pics. I had a YouTube channel where I used to post videos about old lobbies but I don’t remember the name! But if you search it up on YouTube you will see several old videos.

This brought back so many memories. I remember the first lobby, I remember the old staff, I remember so much more from these posts. I miss those old days, but those old days brought all of us together. I remember my first post on forums, my first message, my first like, and my first friend *cough* @Zonafer *cough*. I really miss those days. Sadly, I do not have any screenshots of the old days, and I wish I took some :(

In my opinion, it would have been nice to see some things kept the same. I get that the server needs to adapt to survive, but it would've been a nice touch.

 

I get you guys miss the old mc central... but im kinda glad improvements were made. I just miss my old friends on this server lol they grew up
