Hiya, so I've seen this happen multiple times. You do an irl deal, Google saves the username, and next time you try to buy something Google changes it to the persons username. I've even gotten a pocketpal and boosters from this, and the shop staff refused to refund the person who bought it (seriously? I was even willing since it wasnt an irl deal). Since staff are too stubborn to believe accidents exist, I'd suggest they implement on the purchase page something that says the IGN you're buying it for. Currently MCC is setup like a scam, and honestly pretty close to turning the other side of the legal boundry. It'll prevent accidental purchase and clear out emails for the shop staff to deal with.
Hi Hi! I haven’t made a transaction before on the MCCentral Store but this issue makes sense. I assume that there is a check out saying. Confirm you are buying: (x) Ancient Key (x) Mythical Keys Etc. Here I suppose you could add the Username of what you are paying for yet you should always check Considering you know this is a common issue. About refunds yeah they don’t give them cause t’s and c’s and bla bla understandable but yeah solutions are to be very careful and check yourself or they implement something because this is really your browsers problem. Have a Good One Edit: Just looked into the store and when I enter my username it says nowhere else your username or account.
I do support this idea thoroughly! I did a deal earlier today and couldn't tell whether I was buying it for my account or the other players and having some kind of indication would be really reassuring! I think that the mentality they have is that since we are using our own money to buy something, we will have our upmost attention to the payment and such and therefore will know what account we are buying items on. Again, an indication would be nice and I support this addition to the store! - Elecctricc
i support this idea 100%! my friend bought something for herself but it ended up going to me instead. therefore she had to purchase the same item twice, losing money. i think that the least that could be done would be to issue refunds. as stated in this thread, an indication would be nice or some type of warning!
