Immortal Rank (The COLORS)

I think /nick would make impersonating staff a little too easy, but I'm completely behind being able to choose the tag's color.

While I agree that Immortal ranks should be able to choose their own [Tag] colour, I do not think /nick should be implemented. A reason for this is that Staff Impersonation could occur much more often, with a simple "/nick Timppali" for example.
Overall, I think while the custom tags is definitely a good idea, to break up the blue text, /nick should not be added.

About the colors, definitely a +1 for me.
About the nicks, to actually choose your nick, I'd say no for the reason given above. However I do think it might nice to be able to change your name color, this isn't something that have to be for Immortal ranks especially. Like this: [Immortal]Example. This would also be done by doing /nick, but if you type in another name it gives an error message so only this will work, /nick &4Example. So overall the /nick could be implemented too!

Great idea I agree with the ability to change immortal colour would be nice and I think having /nick would be cool but only being able to /nick as a commande where you can’t pick what name you get and it gives you a random name could be an idea

I personally love this idea I think that adding new features to the Immortal rank will make it more worth its purchase. But I do agree that there needs to be limitations to the /nick or /tag. As we don't want to give people the ability to choose to impersonate staff. Overall its an amazing idea.

I personally think that being able to change the colour of your tag is not needed. Only because I feel that there isn't much to choose from and a lot of colourways are used up by other ranks and I don't think that immortal having the same colour as say, a player with gold is necessary. However, what I think would be a good idea is that the player is able to change the colour of the brackets around the Immortal tag. For example:
[ Immortal ] or [ Immortal ]
This would be a nice way to add a subtle cosmetic change, without completely changing the ranked colour system.

I remember this was a big thing back when immortal came out. I didn't really like the colors either and thought they didn't really match the immortal rank. I don't know if it's just because I'm used to them, but the colors simply don't bother me anymore. Of course the ability to change the colors wouldn't hurt, but I personally don't think that's going to happen in the near future, simply because it isn't needed and there are more important things to focus on.

I've discussed this with some other players too! I recently upgraded to Immortal and would love to be able to use a different colour. like Kenko said /Nick would probably make it easier to impersonate staff, and ofcourse staff colours would be off limits too. But i do hope they will consider adding that extra cosmetic skill for us immortals :D

So, in my opinion, I do think immortal should have permissions to change the color of their names, but, /nick would be a little bit too far in my opinion, giving players /nick would make it quite confusing sometimes for staff to punish someone in-game for chat offenses, so I do not think adding /nick would be a very good idea at all, but I do think immortal rank should get the option to color their names/ranks in chat.
Overall +1 for the colored in-game rank, but for the /nick -1 from me.

I'm pretty iffy about the whole idea of /nick. That is a pretty powerful command and may confuse staff members and players who is who. Although I disagree with the whole /nick idea, I think the color idea is a good one! The colors of immortal are pretty gross, so I think that would be a cool change and actually worth the money. Great idea!

 

I’m down with the colors and having more perks for Immortal. Paying and not liking the color is harsh and I would love to customize my rank, I feel your vibe.

As you mentioned, the reason you don't wanna get the Immortal Rank is because of it's colour tag and I do believe that not everyones going to like it because I feel the same. But for my concern, if we do given the chance to choose our own colours, in my opinion it would look to chaotic and messy seeing everyone with different colours.

Although the Immortal rank colors are not the best, I don't feel like they should add this. The chat would be very colorful and hard to read if they were to implement this and you can easily impersonate a staff member with the /nick command. Overall, this is a -1 from me.

I think this is a good idea. Immortals pay $120 for just 1 ancient key a month. I think we should be able to choose the tag colors. /nick seems to be pushing it a little bit, but I like it. I think your solution to the /nick and staff impersonation is a good idea, but staff also might get annoyed by having to remove perms all the time. I think if someone tries to make their name a staff name it wouldn't let them. Every staff name should be blacklisted from /nick. That also might get annoying when there is a new staff member and they have to add them to the blacklist, but I think it might be worth it for Immortal to be worth the price.

 

That's kinda petty to be honest. Just because there's going to be a lot of colors doesn't mean it's going to hard to read. it's just going to be the normal colors that you could talk with if you are a Diamond rank or above.

I think this would be finely a cool idea! I have heard the idea before, and I like it before and I still like it now. I the /nick might be for only subservers. I love the changing color idea that would be cool! Another idea I hear was to do this with extra credits! Both of which are really cool ideas! I feel that this would make immortal a better buy. I am in support!

I think that since immortal is so much you should be able to have a little more customization options!

 

Even if they don't let us put whatever colours they want (which I think would be good). They should at least change it. It's really boring.

 

I think being able to change the color of the tag would be such a cool feature! I believe a lot of rank stuff is pay to win, but this is a good one that wouldn't be pay to win!! I would really like to see this added to the rank, and I feel like a lot more people would want the rank as well and it would benefit the server!

I don't think immortals should have /nick though. I think only staff should have access to the command, as fun it /nick would be I don't think it should be added...
