With the start of the new season, my hopes were high. The patch notes were pretty clear, and I was very happy /fix all was free again, as it should have been. From my understanding, that was the main thing that was changed, along with some bug fixed and such. I realized that rookies could fix for money, which was fine, but alting would still be popular as it was last season. When Kitpvp finally launched, I got my set on and went around to see if they changed anything. I eventually was combat tagged, probably by killing someone or getting hit. Eventually, I realized that you couldn't enter your echest (/ec is the command) in combat. This is the one thing I wasn't hoping for. UglyKidSteve, a known worker on the reset project, was online at the time and I messaged him if he wanted this to happen. He said no, and that alex put this in place. I wasn't very happy because I thought we were promised a better season. I think last season was to test how the community would react and how the "pay-to-fix" system would effect us. They fixed this, but I feel as though they wanted some sort of payment from us. They got their "payment" by taking away enderchest in combat. The main problem with this is the fact that if you are being targeted, you will die. If a bhopper is on you (as there are so many on this server), you will most likely die because you only have so many super golden apples on you. This is a massive problem and I hope this will be fixed soon. I am happy that they at least give the chance to fix for lower ranks and make it free for us to fix, but they have basically ruined Kitpvp with this change. If we are to add /ec to combat then we may aswell remove the combat logger and allow all commands in combat. Im fine to add whatever the community wants, but to me it seemed really stupid that we had a system that killed players if they logged out in combat (the entire reason for this system was to prevent players from avoiding combat without losing items). It also seemed really stupid that we dont allow any commands in pvp aside from "/ec". We may aswell also allow the /chest commands? The reason I removed it was not as a 'Payment' for adding repair back, it was because the way it was made no sense and was extremely contradicting to other plugins we had in place.
What the community wants is a way for hackers to be expelled. /ec was a way to put all items away in case of a hacker as that is impreventable. If you find a good way to prevent hackers, you can keep /ec away. In fact, you can keep a lot of things away, we just want the hackers gone. I know how hard it is to control hackers as I've worked with you in the past and was staff for a long while and I understand it all but adding the simplest thing like /ec will just help ever so slightly. I also would like the 3 character limit of clan names removed. Last map, the winning clan of the map was a clan named "x". Just x. Now since you added this for apparently "aesthetic view" we cannot name ourself that anymore. Anyway, thank you for what you have done. What is the point of working hard to kill someone just for them to echest all their cool gear? That is no fun. If you are worried about hackers there are other options to combat that not /ec in combat.

I never said I didnt like /ec being removed in combat in fact, I like it more than the system before. Just like Alex said, having /ec in combat essentially lets people go into pvp without needing to worry about losing gear at all which was super common in the previous seasons with people just chesting things before they would die.
Bro you are supporting this because you can just 5v1 people and they can’t store stuff to get out of an unfair fight unscaved. I thought they were trying to make kitpvp more fair. Also, There is no difference with /ec being removed. people will just having 10 stacks of god apps in their inventories in that case make them even more invincible. People want to have 1v1s but they can’t do that when there’s 5 people who wanna jump anyone they want on small maps and not get any drawbacks from that. Being allowed to /echest discourages people from teaming up on others since they know they won’t gain from it and teaming up on players for no reason at all is literally cyber bullying at its finest.
PainfulStrafes if we're being honest and realistic 5v1 is apart of every kitpvp server. That is not the main reason for /ec to come back during combat, if they want to make it more fair make /clan chest accessible to everyone during combat until the hacker situation is fixed. That allows every player even rookies to store there valuable items in case of a bhopper focusing them when there is no staff online.
All steve and the beta clan do is 5v1 people and it ruins it, He just doesnt want people to be /ec'ing their stuff when they are 5v1ing them because he doesnt care about the server and bans people when they are in combat in p5 like always.
The entire point of thise post that you seem to have completely missed is the fact that there are hundreds of b-hoppers on your shitty server. What do you expect somebody to do when they have items they payed irl money for and have no way of getting out alive with their items to somebody who is cheating?
