The fastest way to make money without spawners is farming melons and nether wart. This far along in the season there are also many profit shops you could use. I would recommend melon farming because materials to build the farms are cheap and harvesting them with a fortune axe makes for a good amount of money. Although fishing makes a lot of money its pretty time consuming and sometimes you can get pretty unlucky whereas if you have a large melon farm you can make a few thousand in a minute.

So going along with what Bequty_ said I would just want to give you a few tips :D You can buy fortune Axes with efficiency 5 to farm and break the melons quickly, another tip i have is to use the custom enchant speed (1 or 2) on your boots it makes the whole process waaaay quicker. Look around on the auction house for the custom enchants Token luck (1 & 2) aswell as Farmer (1 & 2) You can do /ce then view the custom enchants (just click on them and it will give you a description!) You can purchase materials from /is warp shop! They have dirt, glow stone, sea lanterns etc..
My final tip is to use the money you get to purchase spawners (Specifically skeletons) This will help you farm melons during the day and still make money over night !
    Thanks for reading!

One thing I wanted to add: Use your money and tokens to buy spawners, but when you’re starting out, the 125K spawners have better returns unless you don’t mind grinding all 600K for a skelly. Mainly, I’d just like to suggest you use your points to upgrade your Mac spawner limit- once you have a lot of them you can make a lot of money.
    Have a wonderful day!

    Hey there,
As someone who's played a lot of Skyblock over the years, the most efficient way to earn money is passive farms. By passive, I mean that you don't have to harvest and replant the crops in order for them to replenish themselves. Passive farms are great because when you're done playing, you can AFK and the crops will continue to harvest themselves until you come back online.

Some examples of passive crops include cactus and sugarcane, and there are many tutorials online on how you can build yourself one of these farms. Although these crops might not sell for the greatest amounts, if you're able to create a farm on a large enough scale it is definitely worth your time.

Additionally, there are also melon and pumpkin passive farms which utilize pistons to harvest the crops. Although you wouldn't be harvesting melons with a fortune axe like others have mentioned, you'd most likely have a higher yield doing it this way.

Best of luck in your Skyblock endeavours!

The easiest way (that I've found) is through melon farming with armour that has farmer II, token luck II, speed and an axe that has high fortune and efficiency. I tend to make about 80k every time I do my melon farm and it's not very big at all, so I can imagine how much money you'd make if you made a pretty large melon farm. Cocoa bean farming is also a fast way to earn money, although it can be slowed in the process of having to replant which is why most players tend to pay other players to replant their farms. Goodluck!

Is the only way to get farming and token books buying them on the ah? How do people get them to sell them in the first place?

It depends on your gear. If you have enchantments like fortune V and effV, then go for melons. However, I vastly prefer Cocoa. For one, it gets you a metric shitload of tokens, which you can sell or use to get spawners. However, they do have to be manually replanted. I sell enchanted books for my money, so that' s why i love cocoa. If you need anything, just message me in game! My username is ItsDrakonz72

you can find a warp that has a spider spawner and string gives you about $12/ string or you can sell bones or sell wheat. Wheat gives you a good amount per stack.

    Hello,
In my opinion you should hunt Profit shops in the beginning of your Skyblock and just earn money to get a few skeleton spawners, or you could put together a melon or cocoa bean farm, simply because they give you a lot of tokens and you can eventually sell those tokens for a decent amount.
When I started my Skyblock, I grinded tokens for 2-3 days and got 2million off of that, but because of the enormous deflation on Skyblock 2, the tokens went from 8k-10k a token, to 3k-5k, maybe 6k if you're lucky... I suggest you hit profitshops, since they make a whole bunch of money.
