Hey all, Recently i was able to come online again (for privacy reasons im wont tell you) when i came back on everyone was a Steve or Alex. Is there anyway to change this via version of whatever. Thanks so much Ashley
Hey there Ashley! According to Mojang devs this issue can be caused by malware or incompatible softwares which might be interfering with your game. You can also try to delete your skins folder and restart minecraft, if issue isn't fixed you can also report this directly to Mojang and/or ask for community support.
Hey! Well i've restarted minecraft many, many times but i havent been on for the past 3 months so how do i get onto the skins folder. Sorry for the issues. Ashley
Hey Ashley. I haven't encountered an issue like this before, but I would advise reinstalling your game. I'm assuming you're using Windows 10, so here's how to uninstall. Press Windows Key, search Uninstall. Click the first option (Add or remove programs). Find Minecraft Launcher in the list of programs, click it, then click uninstall. You also need to delete your .minecraft folder. Doing so will remove all screenshots, so make sure to back them up! To delete your .minecraft press the Windows Key and R. Type %appdata% then hit enter. You'll see .minecraft at the top of the list. Delete it. Reinstall Minecraft, and hopefully, you'll find your issue was resolved! I hope I helped! Have a nice day. :)
Hey, If you're still having this issue, Hold F3 and click A once. This will reset your chunks and refresh the game. I've never had this problem, it might depend on what texture pack you're using, as I've seen my friends have this problem and it was their texture pack. I hope it works
