I got ip ban for 6 months i won't go into details but i have been missing this server.
i need to get back and all my appeals have been rejected
and also the mccentral player base has been on decline so it would be a good
idea to enable this also i value time more than money so i would be really happy if this gets
allowed please do it also like real life if you do a crime or something bad you get the option pay cash
instead of jail/prison so to make this place more realistic please do it

    1) Its against mojang TOS to purchase unbans
    2)Wait 6 months and appeal
3)For you to get an ip ban it should've been something rly bad, so it may as well stay as is.

    Hi!
Buying unbans is against Mojang TOS. If this server started doing that, we’d be violating their TOS and it’s unethical. It’s a Minecraft server and there’s rules that have to be obey. If you did something that was bannable, then it’s simple- you end up getting banned. If you have gotten an IPBan, it was probably for a good reason. Sorry about your misfortunes, but rules are rules.

Hello Rodan, while I have stated my objection to this before in other areas, I do not believe I have properly done so here on the forums, so now will be my time to do so.
Allowing the purchase of unbans on a server without an exceptional anticheat (note that barely any servers have one of a caliber where purchasing unbans is a feature you can consider) is not a good idea. With the enabling of unban purchases comes hordes of players who have the money to not care about any punishment that is administered to them, as they can simply purchase their way out of it without any consequence. Scammers, griefers, insiders, and most importantly cheaters are the main groups which come to mind when considering this. There are multiple cheaters on the network who have been very difficult to eventually catch for good (especially under the 3 chances system which is another reason unbans should not be purchase-able), and with the constantly evolving nature of ghost clients, autoclickers etc these cheaters will become nearly impossible to deal with, as when you are finally able to detect their client they will simply get the method patched, purchase an unban, and cheat for however long it takes until you finally manage to get a new detection, and the process from here will rinse and repeat (note especially the buycraft you can get from IRL deals or payouts when considering Factions to make unbans essentially free). You would either have to make unbans so costly that they are not worth it for the common player (which is the entire point of the unban in the first place), or make them any less than that which would create a state of anarchy on MCC, with it devolving into who has the most money to get away with the most instead of gameplay that has integrity or honesty. This is a direction I have seen many servers take and I would absolutely hate for MCCentral to go into the same direction as I have seen what these servers become (infested with closet cheaters, DDoS & Doxing, consistent and excessive violations of the rules, etc). If you really want an anarchy server I would try searching for one online, but as for me I would rather stick to what a server with rules is supposed to be, one that punishes players for violating them and expects them to accept the consequence of their actions.

In my opinion, MC Central (as all the other Minecraft servers) has enough rule breakers for those who have already been sanctioned to buy forgiveness. I understand that people regret their actions but rules are rules and they will apply always. Even if it would be a juicy business, it goes against my ethics. I'm sorry if this opinion was a little harsh but I couldn't say it in another way.

I hope your ban time comes to an end fast.

The first thing you could do is stop creating numerous replies. You can edit one of your messages using the tools button.

Second, in order for you to be IP banned, you had to have done something a lot worse than throwing items on creative. What is the actual reason you are banned for?

Third, if you’re spamming appeals, you’re almost guaranteed to get denied. Creating a poll on forums isn’t helping your case either. Why would we want players that aren’t playing fairly on the server? Because they have money?

Make sure there is no one else playing under your IP. MCC isn’t going to add purchasable unbans, therefore there is no need for this post. Either wait the 6 months to appeal, or message a staff member on discord with real evidence that your ban was false.

This is why there is a feature to make an unban buyable only once

Hey, Roden I going to have to strongly disagree with you for certain reasons. The first reason is because buying a unban is against the Mojang rules as @fableking and @Fasilisnt mentioned. Another reason is because buying a unban is a gateway to people to repeat the bad habits they got ban for in the first place. Some banned players who have money will just buy a unban and repeat by breaking a Mccentral rule. Also if you believe you got falsely banned please create an appeal at https://mccentral.org/community/forums/appeals/. Also if gotten IP-Banned you have to wait 6 months to appeal as @abby and @Fasilisnt mentioned. Overall it is a -1 for me for the purchasing a unban idea and have a good day or night.

Although I would love for you to go to the suggestions page (here btw) to have some discourse on whether or not this is implementable, even putting aside the massive negative feedback as we've seen above, you clearly have a very big incentive for this post.

This post comes off across as a very not-so-subtle way of crying out that you've been banned unfairly. I can understand that it's a frustrating situation to be in -- to be banned from a server you like -- but you gotta realize that if appealing, messaging staff members direct and creating numerous suggestions hasn't worked for you, why would a post about you whining about your woes be any better? You don't necessarily have to prove that you're innocent in an appeal. Just be more responsible for your actions and staff members will at least view you positively enough to shorten or even remove your ban altogether.

For your sake I hope that you'll be unbanned eventually, although it will take some time and a change in mindset. Best of luck!

imo, i think that if you did something bad enough to be completely banned from the server, it should stay that way unless the appeal is accepted. purchasing an "unban" would be redundant to getting banned in the first place because as soon as you do receive the punishment, (and im not targeting you specifically), you can simply buy your way out of it, making it counterproductive and allowing yourself to make the same mistakes and thus becoming a cycle.

I will be locking this thread as the question has been answered. Being able to buy unbans/mutes will not be added back to the server as it was against Mojans terms and conditions like fableking said above.
