I don't think it should be removed, its something apart of the game. People should learn how to control themselves which can be done by just withdrawing your money and putting it in a chest somewhere. The chances of a gambling addiction going from a game to real-life are slim as nobody is dumb enough to gamble real-life money in large amounts. I feel like the best that the server can do is maybe an option to ban yourself from cf. How would this work? I don't know, but I feel like that's the only solution that wouldn't cause any problems.
I dissagree with this, I believe it should stay because it is apart of prison and has been. People being rotten and mean about these things are their own problems, but yes I have seen people get mad at cf BUT only after the winner has bragged and shoved it in their face. I have lost 4 50mil Cfs in a row and yes I know its not real so I just laugh it off. But then again some peoples root of anger comes from their opponent which is the most often case because your being quite a rude person instead of being a good sport and saying "hey goodgame" "Hey its alright don't get upset ill send x amount of money back" If people where more like this it would cause toxicity to lower from cfs but then again some people can not control their emotions. Hello, UmNick. To be completely honest with you, I don't think it should be removed because it isn't the fault of the creators that the users are continuing to spend money on something that has to do with pure luck. Furthermore, you can just bet for lower money, it isn't like you need to bet all your earnings to play. Just like the real world, there are casinos and all that, but they aren't being taken down because it's the people's fault for overdoing it. This is just an opinion, wasn't meant to offend anyone, but that's just how I see it.
