Hey, i suggest a staff team dedicated just towards mini-games, this way ban-efficiency of hackers increases, this way there can be more focus set on mini-games. This particular staff team can include members of different time zones. Currently, staff have to spend time going through all of the sub servers and min-games, in my opinion having a team only focused on mini-games will increase the efficiency of the staff team. A similar approach can be taken towards sub-servers where staff who want to only monitor sub-servers. This allows for a wider array of staff members in which each of them can go into their specialized areas. And when there is specialized staff, overall performance and efficiency increases. This does not have to apply to the entirety of the staff team, just the ones who want to operate specific areas.
It doesn’t matter if you play it or not, we signed up to moderate the NETWORK not just part of it or to moderate only where you play. This has been discussed a few times in the staff calls and the admin team agreed that that would not be a great idea.
Unfortunately this idea is very unlikely. Directly relating to your proposition of sub-server staff, this has been completely rejected and been brought up several times on the staff team. The only reason Factions Staff exists is due to the complexity of Factions and the necessity to have specific staff on a sub-server that many staff avoid and are afraid of due to lack of knowledge and toxicity. Unfortunately mini-game staff will never be added as, like Gooey mentioned, the idea has been rejected. The good news is that, like you mentioned, staff have to play mini-games monthly. Although I can't reveal the specific amount of time, I can tell you that it takes up about 1/4th of their total network playtime for monitoring, so to put that into perspective they're spending a lot of time in mini-games and catching hackers. Staff also have free-time minutes and the ability to play mini-games for however long so long as they make sure to meet requirements by the end of half month and end of the month (risk strikes & infractions); this means we already have staff revolving around mini-games whenever they feel like it, and although that may not sound the best, many staff play mini-games and enjoy it, thereby leading to more staff spectating hackers whenever they can. There's also #support on the MCCentral Discord where staff reply to hacker requests ASAP, which is as efficient as it can get without mini-games staff. Overall I think the current system is fine, and it could be more efficient with mini-game staff but it's functioning right now and gets the job done as quick as possible.
