So, I’m pretty sure all of us agree that we don’t wanna die with our high level upgradable pickaxes that we spent hours or lots of money on getting. I feel like it can be fairly easy to lose this pickaxe and all it’s progress along with it, due to the amount of scammers and tpa trappers. Or even accidentally dropping it or dying. (Especially if you don’t have fly) Although this personally hasn’t happened to me yet, I believe it would eventually happen to most clumsy players. In addition, I feel like this would possibly help prevent new players from quitting when they lose their pickaxes/progress. I’m suggesting that they make it so that upgradable pickaxes shouldn’t be droppable upon death.
I think that pickaxes, like every other item, should be droppable, otherwise what's the risk in going to the PVP mine, none. Basically all this does is remove the risk in the PVP mine essentially making it another donator mine except no one has to donate everything which is unfair for those risking their own loot at PVP as well as those who have donated to gain access to a PVP free Donator Mine. -1 for me
Adding this feature in does seem like a good idea, however, it doesn't make sense to have just one item not to be able to be dropped. Especially, adding onto Pinyacolada, it doesn't help with the idea that PVP is meant to be a free-for-all in the sense that whatever you bring will be lost when you die. For dropping the pick, you can simply unbind your drop key while mining by going into Settings > Controls > Press drop > Press Esc. Not only that, but scammers are, unfortunately, allowed and a part of the prison community, meaning that whatever is scammed, even if its a pick you've grinded for, is "fairly" lost. -1 from me as well.
I agree with both the above messages. I know that its annoying to drop your pickaxe on death (trust me ive been tp killed with my fortune 10 blast mine 3 pickaxe) however, it is still a regular item so it should be dropped and also it gives people who PVP something else to work for I guess It would definitely help people who forget to keep their pickaxes safe however as long as you dont tp to players or visit unknown plots with it in you inventory, then there is no chance of losing it Have a great day - OwenCW
