Anyone else like the idea of making it so you have to toggle dropping something (like pressing Q) twice or having a command to do so. I have lost so many tools by accidentally throwing them off the edge. I know I might just be an idiot but I would love this implemented. I've already seen this on other servers and it would be pretty easy to code if the server would like to make it a custom plugin.
I agree. I've lost multiple melon axes myself. I try to make it a habit of having nothing in my hands before I go flying around just to be safe.
Change your drop key to something safer instead. Q is close to WASD and it just happens every now and then to hit Q instead of W
Yea but I do drop parties and give away stuff and clean my inventory all the time so it is good to have it in an easy position. Plus I have played minecraft since like 2010 and always had it as 'Q' so it has become quite the habit and would be very hard to break out of but good advice!
I personally have never had an issue with this and, as stated above, there are other easier ways that you can do yourself to prevent it from happening. -1 from me. I also play with arrow keys so that may be a reason I don’t have issues with throwing something out. Just so you know.
Hi! I disagree with you fully, this is very unnecessary are someone has already said either change your key form Q to something else or be more careful and aware and don’t press Q, as I hardly ever drop my tools as i don’t press Q accidentally. Making a different command or order of pressing Q on McCentral would make new people confused and this would be hard for everyone to figure out if they are new or unaware of the change. HH_Captain
