What's poppin! Ive made this thread a few times before but im yet to give up on my dream to see the return of (in my opinion) the best minigame Mc central had. What is One in the Chamber? One in the chamber was a popular minigame that involved a map full of 12 players. Each player was given a bow with the ability to One shot kill and a sword. Each player starts with 1 arrow and after every kill is rewarded with another arrow. In addition to this you are given 1 arrow every time you respawn. The objective of the game was to reach 25 kills. One in the chamber due to the one shot mechanic of the bow was a quick-paced game that mainly focused on bow pvp. It should be added back to the server and ima tell you why! Minigames need an update! Minigames has constantly been neglected as of recent, with a falling player base, repetitive old minigames and maps, a must needed update is needed and what better to bring the large number of players back to minigames then bringing back a beloved minigame. One in the Chamber was, at its prime, a very popular minigame. To return it back to the server would be a nice refreshing change and will bring back players to minigames. Not many servers run One in the Chamber! Mcc has a chance to deliver an experience that no other server is offering at the moment. Many many other servers host CTF, Survival games and sky wars. To host a minigame that not many minigame servers are giving at the moment could make mcc stand out. There will be a demand for One in the Chamber and mcc could cash in on that demand. One in the Chamber could deliver a safer environment away from hackers! Hackers are a big problem at the moment, drowning out the popular pvp minigames but with One in the Chamber the combat is focused around a bow. Their arent any "aim bot" working hacks out there, this could give a safe heaven for legit players who still want to play pvp based minigames but won't have to worry about being scaffolded or fly hacked on. I mean yes, hackers will still be able to play One in the Chamber but with the one shot mechanic on the bow, there advantage isnt as large as it is on other pvp mini games. But we already have enough minigames as it is and half of them arent being played, we don't need another unplayed minigame. No no no! You are wrong! and here's why and how we can fix that.... Remove speedy walls, no one plays it, or put it on a cycle with cakewars changing each day. A refreshing change is needed and it will bring new and existing players to minigames. One in the Chamber needs to come back, its the hero we need and the hero we deserve. It should of never been removed in the first place! But don't just stop there! After you bring it back it needs to be constantly updated with new maps, ways to play ect. Minigames need to stop being neglected, new updates/revamps are desperately needed. "Revival events" arent going to do that, new updates are! Bringing back One in the Chamber will be a step in the right direction to returning mcc to the successful minigame server it once was! Please comment and show your support, i'd love to hear other peoples opinions on this. #BringBackOITC will begin trending on twitter shortly, thanks for reading my thread!
Hey Jake! You've heard me voice my opinion on this matter in the past. So as you know I agree with you completely. You bring up so many solid points in this post, and I really do hope this post becomes more popular. Good luck!
Don't remove Speedy Walls :( It's not dead! Anyways I completely agree with the re-implementation of OITC in favor of a "Party Games" idea similar to Mixed Arcade on Mineplex. Speedy Walls, Champions Builder, and OITC could be a part of this since these games would attract the lowest amount of people (that's part of the reason why OITC was removed after all, Party Games weren't that popular). The only difference is that none of the current minigames have to die, and I feel that those minigames I mentioned would favor better as a Mixed Arcade type rather than a standalone as they are currently. I hope OITC does get added when minigames has a revamp; I highly doubt it'd have a chance at being added before a minigame revamp since minigames hasn't had many improvements since the previous revamp, so there's a low chance of anything new being added currently. I've heard that a minigame revamp is being worked on and should be out soon, so fingers crossed that OITC gets added and many improvements are made to minigames. Apologies for any conventional errors, I didn't really re-read what I wrote.
I like that idea, if you had to remove 1 mini game remove build battle. I don’t think there are ever enough players to start a game and it’s no where near as fun as some of the other dead mini games (cakewars). I do like 1 in the chamber modes so for me this is a +1. Have a good day! -W5vil
What's poppin I completely agree however I wouldn't remove champion builder, even though it isn't that popular its the only non pvp gamemode, I think it gives variety. But yea I agree with the playlist idea. If I had it my way Id remove every minigame just to see One in the Chamber return :p
Hello! One in the chamber is a great game, especially as it's the game that made me so amazing at the bow as I am today in Skywars and SG. I would love to see it come back, but maybe not at the expense of all other minigames as you said. What I truly would love to see is a new twist on OTC, with new features that would make it interesting compared to the other few servers that still run it. The idea of a Minigames revamp has always been a great idea for me and other members of the community / staff team alike, and I think adding a couple and getting rid of a few might be just the push that the minigames community needs to get back on it's heels. Great suggestion Jake! Have a great day or night!
Hey there! I agree with everything you said on your post except for one thing, the removal of Speedy Walls. This minigame is kinda dead, that's true but it doesn't mean it can't be revived! It's a great minigame in my opinion and it would be a shame if it got removed. One In the Chamber was one of my favorite minigames back in the days and I would love to be able to play it again on MCC. I also believe that Minigames need a revamp, there hasn't been one in ages and Minigame players deserve at least new maps :p but would be great to see new things such as kits or even abilities added because I really need to spend my credits! Great suggestion overall, I'm a +1 on all your ideas except for the Speedy Walls removal one, that's not gonna happen! :(
Hey Jake! You know I've been in on this for a while ;D Let's not hurt anymore knuckles though. I would love to see something, anything, done to minigames right now! I only got to play OITC for a short time before its closing, and I have to agree, its one of the best mingamed out there. I agree with the others on not removing speedy walls, but like you suggested, it and some other rarely played games can be put on rotation. You have my support :)
Hey, I would love to see this minigame return. One in the chamber was one of my favourite minigames, and I believe this minigame would be pretty popular if it were to return. I agree with pretty much everything said in this post, apart from the removal of other minigames. I believe that with a bit of work, and maybe a few updates, speedy walls could definitely see a revival. I think the reason speedy walls isn't starting games consistently is due to the lack of updates, and or reason to play the game. If speedy walls saw a small update, and maybe a leaderboard reset, I could almost guarantee it would be starting games a lot more often. Adding one in the chamber back to MCC would probably spread the playerbase out from mainly SW, SG and CTF, which would also be a cool thing to see. I fully agree with you on this one. Have a good day!
Jake Make A Thread About Bring Back OITC? Lol not surprised :) In my opinion if the community wants it they should 109% add it back as long as it doesn’t become too dead. Now I wasn’t there in the final days of the MCC Arcade but I think it was safe to say that it didn’t have many players which is why it was removed. It would be like if they removed cake wars now, a lot of people love it and even play it though it doesn’t get much attention. Never the less I am very much a +1 to this as much as a +1 to new MCC Content in general. Have a Good One ___Sean___ :D
