Just wanted to gather the communities thoughts on the new MCC website. In my opinion, this change definitely had to be made. The old UI just felt squished and slow. The new one has a modern theme and is a lot easier to navigate on. They have stuck to a much better colour theme as well and I think that the new website is something MCC has needed for a while now. Share your thoughts down below!
Lots of people have made forums posts like this already but I personally think it looks nicer and a lot of ppl agree its just too bad all of our old enjin stats are gone
I don't mind that all of my stats are gone. It's a fresh new start for everyone and I personally enjoy that. The new website looks much more modern and it was a much needed update. The old website was in desperate need of an update, and Enjin is dying out fast. I'm glad that most of the features are basically the same as the old site, but say if you report a lot of players on the forums, the process feels much quicker than it did before. The general aesthetic of the new site is much better as well, the gray background feels like it blends more, and the forums altogether feel less "blocky" than the previous site. It's a much smoother feel and I enjoy that as well.
I'll be honest, I really did NOT like it at first. It's definitely growing on me though. It's certainly a lot easier and faster to navigate around the website. Plus as others have said, the new site is a lot more modern looking. Still, I find it a bit unfortunate that I no longer have a need for Enjin as this was the only server that was still on it.
Hi, I personally think the design of this forum is better than the old enjin as that one was getting pretty boring. However, I had all my forums and stats on enjin which I missed. One area I feel enjin is better is searching for community members and having nicer looking walls. Apart from that Xenforo is faster, less buggy, and generally is more aesthetically pleasing.
It’s actually a really great change. I would have preferred a few other changes before the time was spent on this new website, but since it is here, it’s actually nice. This new website is so much more conducive to mobile writings and the added bonus that it saves your longer reply as a draft so you can go back to it if you didn’t finish it at the time of starting. It is also so much easier, clearer, and faster to write reports on the new site. You can type the information, then press tab and go on. Instead of going through all the drop down menus of the old site. These are just a couple things that I think are nice, and honestly I haven’t found any detriments to the new site so far (which is kind of pleasantly surprising). Anyways I’m enjoying it a lot, thank you to everyone who put the time and effort into making this a reality. -Smashhhh
Hey, I like this new website very much as it seems more smoother, cleaner and more up-to-date. It was nice to have a fresh start and have things very organised, but what I really miss is the whole friends and profile page thing.
I love this website way more than the last, honestly, enjin was S L O P P Y! Quite a few errors for me and very hard to manage. This website pleases me with its aesthetic and this text gui, though fairly similar to enjin's one is pretty nice. I also love that all of the stats have been reset, mcc's website needed a glow up, there were way too many useless and old threads and I love new starts, they're fresh and allow people to manage themselves in a better way. Thank you for creating this thread! (:
I guess some people don't want to lose what they worked for. I personally am not really affected as I never used the forums when it was run by enjin.
Hey! I think it's a decent website, and features improvements. Like, adding all rules in one place (including factions, forums, discord rules). Invite links for discord and server on the main page, and better report system. I however liked the inter-connectivity of enjin, and think the server should have made these improvement on enjin. Just my 2 cents -N3UR0T0X1N
