I was muted for saying "Paying IGM for IRL" meaning I would pay in game money for either a rank up or myth keys. Apparently that's not allowed. Staff says we must specifically say "MCC store" in our chat advertisements, BUT rules do not. I was unaware of this rule and am now muted for 48 hours even though I've been doing these deals for 4 years and saying "Paying IGM for IRL" every time Please either change the rules to tell us to specifically put "MCC Store" in our chat advertisements or do not mute us for saying "IRL money" when irl money is required for MCC store deals
You are able to appeal this punishment and explain what you have explained here. Also, bot saying you did, but if you were discussing with someone to do an unapproved deal then staff could see this and mute you for that. Im not sure if what you said could get you muted and you should definitely appeal unless your not giving the full story.
You are allowed to trade IGM for keys or ranks. You must not have been very specific with your message, leading to a mute. Do not say you are trading for IRL money. Say what you are trading for. Example: I'm trading 60mil for an upgrade to diamond rank! MSG ME! You will not be muted if you do this. What you said got you muted because you are not specific enough and made it seem you are trading for PayPal or other forms of IRL payment. Your mute is not false.
