This is a dumb question but does anybody know how to make good auto farms? I have cactus, melon, sugar cane, and nether warts farms but currently am taking care of them all manually. I don’t know any good ways to make at least one an auto farm to make things a bit easier and less time consuming as all I ever do is farm pretty much.
Automatic cactus farms used to be very popular, I'm not sure how effective they are with the new season. I would suggest if you want to make money fast, while doing minimal work, get a beacon with haste and expand that melon farm. Melons are currently making my island a lot of profit. Hellonya! This season is all about manual farming. If I'm correct auto farming is not what the owners want right now and they nerfed vines when an automatic way to farm them was found. I'd say what you've got right now is pretty good. Melons are awesome for money, and so are nwart. Try getting an efficiency 5 and fortune 3 axe for melons. As for netherwart and you're sugar cane, get a harvest hoe. Harvest hoe prices are dropping right now I believe. Even if you can't afford it, about half an hour on a decent melon farm will get you there. Rowr! Meow? Farewellnya!
Hello _Inconvenience, As said already, manual farming is what season 9 of skyblock is thriving on currently. I find that the best manual farm for money currently is melons after vines got nerfed. Cocoa beans are also quite good if you require tokens to get custom enchants such as farmer and token luck 2. However, if you require afk farms I feel the best is probably cactus but these can take a while to build. On another note, you could farm up melons for a bit and get some tokens to purchase spawners which you can afk while you farm to make that extra bit of profit. Then you would be able to expand this and generate large sums of money Thanks, Olli
Hi, Automatic cocoa bean farms are really easy to make, but I suggest staying away from automatic farms completely. If you use automatically farms, you will not be earning any tokens or island points. When in-game do /tokens and /points if you want to know more about what they do. You must farm manually to earn tokens and points. Anyway, cocoa beans don't sell for that much, and you'd make a lot more off tokens. The best way to earn money this season is to farm melons for cash and cocoa beans for tokens, then buy spawners. Vines used to be good, but the sell price got nerfed to $15. Good-luck! =)
_Inconvenience, On my island, we use melon and ice farms to make a lot of our money. It does require a silk touch pickaxe though for the ice farm, but for the melon farm, you can use either silk touch or not, to get a lot of money. If I know I am going to be afk for a while though, I typically use my auto fishing farm and that makes a lot of money since pufferfish and the tropical fish sell for so much money. To get some decent look and better fish I would have a fishing rod that has Luck of the Sea and lure on it and to last longer, I would also put unbreaking 3.
