new mcc website

im not a big fan of change, but i do like xeferno. even before mcc changed, i always like day xeferno.
i don’t get how it’s ‘fomplicated... but yeh

The server is using XenForo, one of the biggest (if not the biggest) forum software out there. I can agree it's complicated, there's definitely a lot more features than Enjin offered However there's plenty of guides on YouTube on how to use it. If you have a question about how something works, you can ask here or search your question on google.

 

This forum looks amazing compared to the Enjin one (not that it was bad). I agree it with you that it's complicated though, I had trouble finding the "edit cover" button a while earlier. xD

 

It honestly doesn't seem too complicated it will just take time to get used to it. I'm sure if you have specific questions there are people around who can answer them for you :D

 

In time people will make guides that'll help you understand the site a bit better. There's a decent beginner's guide by xSinclare that you can read by clicking on the orange text here. From here you'll learn more by using the site more and figuring out new features both by reading other people's posts as well as finding them out yourself.

 

I'd say this is a large step up from Enjin, and I'm guessing that was their hope for the new software. It's also establishing MCC's independence as a server and a business, if I may. To get used to it, try and explore the website as you go! <3

 

I couldn't really read this without just seeing your username and it seems like no one mentioned it yet, so I'm not gonna talk that much about it... cough cough y u throwing shade @ alex_markey cough cough haha

but fr tho this website is a lot better than the previous one imo. I just can't really tell why. There are a few things that I think need to be done, but they are going to be done (I mean I don't think there's an app coming soon :[ ). I really don't see how it's complicated but I guess there are a lot of new features that even I don't understand yet. Or at least that's what I've been told.

 

I’m liking it more and more with each use tbh. I’ll always miss the old one but this one isn’t as bad as I previously thought.

 

I feel like this change is a better improvement, especially with the report system. You used to have to use a special code made by kierenboal and now you can just open the reports page to see if it was accepted. Good change AlexMarkey!!

 

Its a improvement and more updated. I would prefer a theme change & stuff. I dont really see how it is complicated, but it was time to switch, enjin is very old. plus using xenforo is way more customizable within its settings and stuff too. Its premium, very very expensive to run.
