Best Recording Software?

heyyOoo! i’d say OBS, but i know not all computers can handle it.
and in my opinion, bandicam watermark makes me sad.. so no bandicam :floshed:
before i knew about obs, i’d also use quicktimeplayer which is the built in software for mac OSX.

I'd agree with pup in that OBS is definitely the best recording software, and it's totally free. I like how customizable it is, and the ease of use and helpful features are a big help when it comes to reporting hackers.

If not OBS, then I recommend you try ZDSoft's Screen Recorder. I used to use it all the time, and it makes really high-quality recordings with little to no effort. It is paid (license costs $19.99), but you can almost always find giveaway licenses on Google.

 

OBS but if you can’t run it just use windows gamebar to record

 

I use OBS AND I downloaded it and changed like 4 setting and then I was able to record. Personally I haven’t tried any other but OBS covers everything that I need.

I do YouTube, and I’d highly recommend using OBS Studio, it’s completely free, easy to use and has a lot of cool features to help you Stream and record.
I’m always here if you need help setting it up or anything.

 

I use action sometimes because it's a lot easier to configure, however action is not free, but I didn't pay for action I use a cracked version of it, there's videos on youtube that can show you hot to crack action, I use OBS sometimes too but it's a huge CPU hog

 

So many people have said OBS which I fully agree with. I've used OBS for as long as I can remember and its super easy to start and stop. But if anyone is on a Mac I can recommend to use something called Quick Time Player. Its a very simple program that I believe is built into every Mac computer. I used it when I was 7, 8, and 9 years old, so it is easy to start using imminently. ​

 

Hi! I agree with everyone else that OBS is probably the best recording software out there that I know.
However, I use Bandicam just for recording hackers. It is fast and easy and you can
upload your video to youtube within seconds. Although the quality isn't that good, it is really useful when
recording hackers. If you cannot access any of them and you have windows 10, just use
the windows game bar recording software. I don't really know how to use it but I heard it is great!

I feel like OBS, Action or Bandicam.

 

Everyone recommends OBS, but it's pretty demanding in the resources department. Very noticeable when it's recording. Wouldn't recommend it if you don't have great specs on your computer.

If you use windows, I would look into using the Game Bar, or Game DVR (Win + G). It even lets you make a recording of the last x seconds with Win + Alt + G, which is pretty handy for if you don't run into the same hacker again, or they turn their hacks off after you spot them using it.

For a recording software that gives good quality on recorded videos, without using a noticeable amount of resources, I would have to say the Windows Game Bar is the best. I also like NCH Debut, but it's a premium software. Also doesn't let you record past events like Game Bar.

There multiple game recording software's out there but like the posts above, I would 100% recommend using OBS.
I personally like OBS better because there are many settings to change that will help your PC handle it, and making your recordings to your taste!
Although, if your getting clips? I would recommend that you use medal. It is great for clipping cheaters in game within a short amount of time!
