Hello MCC community, I have recently made a guide for 2 staff tips. This is going to be two more, I hope this helps!
    Surpass the requirements
So, when you are applying for staff, the minimum requirements are 20 posts, and 50 player reports. The reason why you need so many player reports is because the people who are looking at your app, want to know and see that you know what hacks are and that you know how to detect them. I suggest that overall, you have 100+ Helpful posts before you apply. I say helpful because if you are participating in post farming threads, they don’t count the post farming posts.
When it comes to player reports, I would have 125+ player reports minimum before applying. The reports should be accepted reports. I would not count denied reports in the group of 125+, this is because if you have 300 player reports in all, and 100 are denied, that is more worse than good. If you have 2/3 player reports accepted, that is pretty bad. So all in all, I would have 125+ accepted reports.

    Socially
When it comes to being social on Discord, Forums, an in-game, here are a few tips on how to be good on these platforms:
    - Discord
On discord, there can be a lot of drama in #general. There are also some toxic people on there. I would stay away from all of this at all costs, if you get into to one of these conversations, you can easily get caught up in it and before you know it, you’re also being mean and toxic to players. If you happen to get into a conversation of this, I would suggest, trying to be nice to everyone, and slowly try to get out of the conversation doing as little as damage as possible.
    - in-game
When you are playing on the server, especially sub-servers, a ton of drama goes on I that, you guys probably know that by now. Completely ignore this and I would try to help all the new players who ask for help, and try to welcome and say hi to all the players who join th swerved, not just new players.
    - Forums
For this, just try to make threads that can start fights, just try to keep all the threads to friendly fighting and re-read them to make sure That no big fights might break out. Also, do not mini-mod, not only is it against the rules, but it can be extemporaneous annoying and makes people not want to be around you, that is very bad when becoming staff. Do not make threads that can be in any way offensive. That is pretty explainable on why.

Remember guys, I did not it all the ups and tricks in here. I hope this was helpful. Have a great day or night!

I think the post was good-natured and all, but I feel like it's only rehashing the points from the official application guide with a bit of zest here and there. Think, what new information can you bring to the table that hasn't been discussed before? And I would also argue the thread should be longer, being a guide and all, but that's just my opinion. Overall, I think this thread has some potential, but I would much rather see it merged into the official guide than being lost somewhere all on its own. :)

You have good intentions but I feel the post is not really necessary. I've hunted down a few more of your threads that essentially are about the same subject as this post. This post is labelled a guide so I believe it should be as easy as possible to read through (a personal dislike is a bunch of colours on posts, especially two that contrast heavily with each other and the background) and cover more detail than what you have put.

I suggest you just copy and paste your previous content from your staff tip posts into this post. You want the information to be easily available.
These two posts of yours I believe should be added into this post so it is easier for those curious about staff to read.

I'd say it's also best to include the official guidelines for applying so players see more of a brief overview of what is required (at a minimum) as your points seem to use more detail which is great but it could seem a little overwhelming to those who are uncertain about applying.

Making one big guide is far more helpful for everyone.

I look forward to seeing one nice detailed thread!

    Hey!

I appreciate this thread but most of the tips are pretty basic and some things you mentioned are very subjective. I will lock this thread, as I doubt that keeping it open will have major benefits.
