I thought of three new staff ranks and some adjustments to the current ones. [Helper] Will have 30 spots [JrMod] Is one of the new ones and will have 25 spots [Moderator] Will have 20 spots [SrMod] Will have 15 [JrAdmin] Is a new one and will have 10 spots [Admin] Will have 5 spots [SrAdmin] Is a new one and will have 3 spots
no. not necessary.. anyways here’s some reasons. *having a set amount of spots for staff kinda limits the amount of staff that’d wanna apply, and also get super whack. *having more staff ranks wouldn’t do much but just make it more confusing to follow who’s that rank. *staff have gave reviews they do that their mentor keep track of to measure when they’re ready to be promoted. (again) having more kinda just wouldn’t do anything. *also.. you just stated these ranks, not so much what purpose they can server or how they could help mcc. anyways. this a hella big -1 if you’d like to go into more detail, i’d love to reply. hehe.. and sorry for being repetitive.. just don’t see a need  you know me. have a great day ~puposaurus
smh my head. wdym wdym. all i’m saying is that i don’t see a need for these new ranks. Helper, Mod. Sr., and Admin seem to be enough
What I mean is that staff start resigning when they haven't ranked up in forever and want to not be staff anymore.
you don’t know all staff’s stories. a lot of times staff resign due to irl issues or to avoid demotion. i still don’t see how adding more ranks would do anything
I actually see what you mean with this suggestion. You are trying to suggest that we add more ranks for staff members so that they are always on the grind to try and slowly work their way up the ranks and are always trying get to the next 'stage' in their staff career. This can be seen as a good suggestion because it gets the staff to work harder and put more effort into their work but, I think that their is already enough staff positions that they have to work to become. They would have to make a whole new system of working out how staff members get promoted to each rank and it would just put more unnecessary work on the higher staff team. The reviews that have currently been completed by Helpers and Moderators would most likely be deleted to adhere with this new 'positioning system' that would be put in place. Overall, i see why some people would want this to be implemented but I just think that it is quite unnecessary and would therefore just put a lot of extra work on the staff team. -1 from me. Apologiez Have a lovely day!
I completely disagree with this suggestion. Additional staff ranks serve no actual purpose and the current ranking system works just fine. If you apply for staff for the title, then you shouldn't be staff. Period. If you're already staff and resign or lose interest because you weren't promoted, then you were never fit to be staff in the first place. Just do your job to the best of your ability, and if you play your cards right then leadership will notice. -1 from me
I like how you are creating new ideas and this sounds like a nice suggestion! Although I also think that this suggestion is quite unnecessary because they serve no purpose and it would be a bit cluttered on the staff side. The 4 staff ranks seem to be enough and when you mentioned to puposaurus about staff resigning, she is right. You do not know their story on why they decided to resign. It could be because of school, and etc.
Helper is a chatmod position which we could always need and don't need a limit on. Besides that the Helper position is trial mod which means the whole JrMod is basically a Helper. Please elaborate which permissions a JrMod would have that a Helper nor a Moderator does or does not have? It really does not make sense as you are not giving any arguments for your ideas. Then JRAdmin and SRAdmin. Please, again please explain what this is coming from and why you believe this is necessary. As the Admin team we are one group and make all decisions together. Therefore there is no need for JR or SR Admins. Besides, we are with 5 Admins, the Admin rank comes with a lot of trusted permissions and it's not easy for Alex to just give everyone those permissions away. You're saying that 18 Admins are necessary for a group of circa 50 staff members? I think that's really not necessary but I'd definitely like to hear your reasoning why you believe it does :D period
What I mean by these are that staff are resigning a lot to get more promos to those who deserve them @Teddzy. I hope this explains the reason
That’s not how it works. People resign due to irl issues and you didn’t answer: what different permissions will these ranks have? They seem useless since dividing the permissions in half would be inefficient
They don't have any new permissions really @xBenz, and it's not my fault I didn't really know what @Teddzy was talking about
If they get no extra permissions, what is the point to have them? People won't care about getting different titles without any new responsibilities, compared to the promotions now. Each rank comes with its own responsibilities but your idea does not have that. I'm going to lock the thread because this will never be implemented. The staff team works just fine as it is right now with its ranks. No new ranks are needed. It will also become messy in chat and confuse other players of whom they should and should not contact. - Locked | Not implemented
