Ive been on mc factions for a while now and the staff is definitely a big issue on the server. I see so many players using hacks, and I understand staff not being online 24-7 however they dont seem to be getting banned.. Maybe try add an anticheat if you dont already have one, to give an idea of what players are cheating. Other than that, at /LMS or outposts etc you can often spot hackers using KA, etc. Lets hope smth gets done about these hackers! -JewishDesires
You can record and report hackers at https://mccentral.org/report. There is already an anticheat in place, however it's not exactly the best. If you want hackers to be dealt with more quickly, I would suggest friending a few Moderators+ and then messaging them whenever you see a hacker. Can also @ the staff on the Discord, with a name and a location of a hacker. Though I can agree, there should always be at least one staff member watching over these events, to make sure everyone has a fair chance.
Staff are people too. They have everyday lives just like you and have to go to school or work. The’re not too many Factions Staff atm which means you wont see too many online all the time. You can always tag a staff member on the community discord or the factions discord for people breaking faction rules.
I think having more staff would be beneficial, but I have looked at the application forms, and they really look for staff that will be good at their job. If they started accepting people in a rush to get hackers under control it wouldn't solve any problems. Hackers will never go away forever and staff does a good job as is
we currently have over 40 staff, about 8 being EU. we try our hardest to help all around the server and that's our job however we can't be in multiple places at once. thread locked.
