To be honest, the best strategy to get better aim is to just have 20ms ping lol. It is physically impossible for me to dodge their arrows at close range with my 130ms Also makes it easier to bow spam, since it will register shooting an arrow faster.
It is not a bad idea to practice in a flat world against villagers, but I would suggest playing in a regular world instead of a flat world. In a super flat world, you will always be standing at the same height as your target, but in a regular world, it can change quite a bit, much more similar to actual minigames. Once you get used to how ''high'' you need to aim to hit targets at certain distances, it really comes down to playing a ton of minigames. CTF is a pretty good game to get used to the bow as you have an infinite amount of arrows and you can respawn. Good aim really needs a lot of practice and is not something that you can achieve overnight, but once you have pretty good aim, it is invaluable. One more thing that is pretty crucial to shooting in CTF is the 180 flick shots. When someone is chasing you, do a quick 180 spin while switching to your bow and release a low charged shot. This will push your enemy back and hopefully increase the distance between the two of you.
Hey! There are also many applications for aim training that have a "Minecraft" setting. Maybe give it a try :) Lemme know what you think! Have a great day/night!
Great Guide! This is very helpful, my aim sucks and I’m definitely not 1 for PVP. However, I will take some of the tips away with me from here and hopefully progress myself to become better. Thanks for the post.
Nice post thanks for going out of your way for making a post so then people can get better at the game not many people would do that but you did thanks for doing this have a nice day -Minninq
Thanks for the post. It really did help me aim well. I did some of your strategies and it really worked! Thank you for taking your time out of your day to make such a detailed post to help the players get better at aim. Have a wonderful day!
This is a very useful tool to have when getting better at aiming and shooting a bow. Personally, it took me a lot of practice from CTF & OITC to be good with a bow. If you put enough practice with it you can predict the arrow downfall and the trajectory with it. You can also think ahead and think where that player will be and shoot ahead so he gets hit. I use this strategy with hackers in Skywars. Anyways, this is a great thread and would have certainly helped me out when I first started mc. +1
I was able to improve on my aim through CTF which some others on this thread have already mentioned. It's one of the best ways on the server to improve you aim and essentially takes time to practice. A good way to know if you've hit a player who is quite far away is to have your music settings on as there's a nice ding effect to every player to hit. Being good with the bow can be quite useful in boosting your credit accumulation for maps that have quite a bit of bow spam.
Aimbot just uses basic math to predict where the player and the arrow will meet, depending on the speed of player & the velocity of the arrow. It's as good as useless if the player you're shooting at has any skill at dodging arrows. At that point you'd be better off just shooting legit lol.
Yo that was good, I also think getting used to higher sensitivity then normal players is an advantage.
If you dont know how to aim a mouse at someone then you should probably throw your pc in the garbage because you will never have enough hand eye coordination to play minecraft. Go back to roblox where you belong if you follow this guide. The #1 tip to improve your aim is to remove your hands and use the subs of your arm to control the mouse.
