Alright so I was chased down in water by some guy in 1.14, and managed to kill him, only to be immediately cleaned by another 1.14 swimmer when I was at half a heart. This is seriously starting to piss me off, why the hell is MCC STILL supporting a new feature that is borderline cheating. Last 2 times I brought this up absolutely nothing was done to fix/balance the change in mechanics. Please MCC, do something about this. It's starting to become very annoying. And not just to me, I'm sure a lot of other people can agree with this.

I can agree that 1.14 is unfair in minigames, especially Survival Games that are water based mainly, but I don't think taking out 1.14 would do much help considering there's people who jesus and swim fast in water, although I do see this as a big problem. I don't think Alex or Vislo plan on removing mainly because they just implanted it and it would probably take a bit to take it out, but 100% can agree that something should be done about this because it can be really annoying, especially when you want to have a fair match/1v1. Alright, so what's your point. You're saying a vanilla feature that breaks the gameplay should be allowed because there's already people who use hacks to achieve the exact same effect? No, either allow NoSlowDown or ban this shit.
Heyo! I also agree with this. Ever since I saw 1 person doing it, all of a sudden, everyone started doing it. Even worse, I cant tell who is water speed hacking anymore since hacks and the 1.14 feature look almost identical. I think this should be taken out. Hope you are having a great day or night!
I do agree with this a lot. I have had multiple games in a row being killed in water because of 1.14 swimming. I agree that this should be changed. I don’t really understand what httpmeme is talking about with Jesus hacks.... maybe your talking about people would just use Jesus hacks? If that is the case then still, less people would have the 1.14 swimming and not all of them will use hacks. +1
"Jesus hacks" refers to a hack that enables you to walk on water (Due to the well-known story of Jesus walking on water). It's kind of a tough spot Markey and Vislo are in... 1.14 PvP is worse, but allows you to swim much MUCH faster than 1.8 and makes you essentially rely on 3rd partying players for your kills. And while 1.14 has worse PvP, it allows you to catch up to hurt players and make them unable to escape in water based maps without using an ender pearl. Well am just the God of sg but I personally don't mind all the haxers they give me more respect then regularly players do they see my power and bow, personally am tired of helping the weak and unable only to see them become the ******* that hurt the weak an unable now i just amaze p3 with God level power in sg for fun,
Best solution I can give make players in sg have 5 attack range., removing w tap and also haxers abilities to kill aura it makes it a fair fight for the players the reason reach is on 4.6 is for the player aka hero to kill the mobs, creepers but from a pvp perspective its actually unbalanced but hey what do I know only been playing for 15 years and become the world's best at pvp... You obviously know better (:

I also agree like I don’t play games like sg often because I suck at pvp but it would be really annoying and it’s also an issue on a couple ctf maps. If they don’t want to take out 1.14 then I believe they should take out water portions of maps or water based maps because it’s basically allowing players to hack or cheat :/ ~Micro
Hey Ankh, This has been noted down. It is something we hope to address eventually. Whilst I can't give you a definitive time frame for a fix, do know that it is noted down and we are aware of it. I'm going to close the thread now, as some of the responses on here are getting silly.
