ok so new forums is all fine and dandy, a change is nice and new but like holy fuck, the filter is trash, i can only use 140 characters for a post on my wall, no one will see my wall bc there's no notifications like damn brother could've at least kept some of the features that gave us a say in what we wanted to write, freedom on our walls n shit lmao
Hey bro, Make a community ticket on what you would like to see so the developers / owners or whoever it is can see and maybe take on board what you are trying to say and incorporate / implement this on the new Forums.
Although currently, the site is still missing some of those nice features from Enjin it's still being worked on and they're taking suggestions for features to add. I'd love to see a way to disable the swearing filter in settings as well as like you said increasing the character limit on wall posts. It's also lacking key notifications like when your tickets are replied to etc which is another thing that needs to be added. I'd say in the very near future that at least some (hopefully all) of these features will be implemented into the new site. It's just going to take some time and for the community to speak up on the features they'd like added, so cheers for this thread.
Hey! The website is still very new and we are still adding new features per community request. The 140 character limit applies to your own status post. If you make a wall post reply or a post on another users wall, the limit is 240. I do agree I'd like to see the News Feed option enabled. It's similar to the Enjin news wall. You should get a flag notification once a thread you've made got a reply. If you didn't, means you disabled it in your preferences settings.
I definitely agree that the character limit isn't great. Tried making a post and was 40-ish characters off which was a bit annoying. It isn't a huge deal since it kinda feels like Twitter but part of the fun of Enjin was being able to make long posts about things. I understand the swearing filter being in place although being able to disable it would be nice too. Having a news feed would be awesome although not having it is probably because the site is still new. Within the next few days a lot of things will continue to change.
yes. yes. yes. the word limit isn't all that fun. I don't mind the filter that much but like TNT said it would be nice to be able to disable it. I also think it would be nice if they didn't make the whole website look so confusing, i think theres so many buttons they don't need, and its a bit confusing with people who aren't that tech savvy (like me) Discord 123abcs#0733
The new website looks nicer and I like some of the differences with things like the reports but I do agree that this website is now more solely focused on mcc unlike enjin which had more of a personal side as well. I personally didn't use my own enjin wall that much tho so it doesn't bother me much.

Suggestions or improvements are to be made per sub-forum, per sub-server on a single post basis. Any suggestions not relating to a specific sub-server can be posted in General Discussion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The character limit of 140 on your wall is the default limit when it comes to posting on your own profile and it is 240 on other profiles as mentioned. This can be changed but I see no reason as to why it has to be increased. Maybe we can make it to where they're both the same number? Your wall is more for status updates, not "posts" I do agree the filter should be altered or removed. We don't get notifications when staff reply to our reports/and/or applications.
As Unlimited health stated, I was referring to when you make a report/application. Currently, no matter what settings (as far as I'm aware) you have enabled it doesn't send you a notification when a staff member makes a reply. The notifications for regular threads and threads you reply to are working correctly though
The 140 limit has already been noted down. for the filter i will not it down to discuss with the admins
I really do agree with you on that. There shouldn't really be a limit like how enjin had. Not only that, but I liked the notifications that you got whenever someone were to post something. I am unsure if you can get that on here, but it's what we are used to and I would rather have that than anything currently on this website to be honest. We need a lot added for sure, but those two are the primary things I would hope to add.
