I've recently got into building note block songs and I'm wondering if this server can handle a large scale noteblock song. Any answers?
I'm fairly confident that it could. You should talk to some staff about implementing if it you are serious about it. Not a bad idea.
It all depends on where you want to build them. As far as I am aware all (if not all, majority) of the sub servers have a plugin in place that could potentially mess with the Redstone as they disable certain Redstone clocks and certain large circuits, etc. to prevent lag. Without knowing exactly how the noteblock song is constructed it's difficult to tell as I haven't made many myself. Although, if you're not using any sort clock it should work fine. The easiest way to tell is to build one on creative and see if it functions properly if it works there it's most likely to work on the other sub servers too.
hey, I am sure that they will hold up!! If you are thinking of making some songs outta noteblock you could test on the Creative Realm and give it a try. Yes some redstone is disabled on Sub-Servers but there is other ways around it! Goodluck!
Ahh, Redstone... You either love it or hate it, and this server kinda hates it. There are plug-ins installed that make it so that Redstone dust doesn't necessarily work. I've found that using only repeaters, you can get around a majority of the plug-ins that make Redstone disabled. - I'm sure that this server can handle large scale noteblock creations, but the question truly is if you can get them to work. There are other workarounds to the whole plug-in, so I'd try testing a few of them out. - Well, that's all that I could help with, I'm not quite the plug-in wiz. Cheers!
I just attempted building a small one and the server is a little laggy and the music isn't as smooth. Unfortunate.
