There are many reasons why Kitpvp should have heart display. For your information: heart display was one of the plugins the server had. It basically showed the hp oh the other player down to the 1/2 heart. Since you can get up to 12 hearts, it showed 24 when at maxed hp. Why did the owners remove it? I think what they did was they didn't want it in because they thought it was pointless. As many people know, there is a whitelisted client called LabyMod that many players use on the server. This client supports a mod that can be downloaded that allows heart display on the server. What is LabyMod? Labymod is, like I said, a whitelisted client that you can use on Minecraft Central. LabyMod offers a lot of things that enhance your game. Examples: Heart Display, Shinypots, Toggle Sprint, and many, MANY more features. Why should they add it back? Like LabyMod, there are other whitelisted clients like Lunar Client and Badlion Client. I personally like to play on Badlion because it feels silky smooth and all of the pros play on Badlion. But, Badlion Client doesn't offer heart display as a setting to turn on. This is not good because you will not be able to "Go Low" with anyone who has heart display on. In this Kitpvp, you need to have heart display on to be able to get good fights. Why is SeriousCircles not staff on Kryptic? Not sure, but I think he should be
I have never used heart display on MCC because I have never downloaded optifine or LabyMod or Cosmic or any whitelisted clients. I have watched many videos of players on the server playing skywars or survival games using the clients and using heart display and I would love to have it. I think just after never having heart display on MCC for years now, I have just got used to it and in skywars, I just ruffly know how many times I will have to hit a player to kill them depending on their armor and my weapon. I understand, if you are used to having it for a long time and it gets removed, then you are going to be pretty annoyed and feel like you cannot compete with the players that still have it. I would personally like to see this come back as it is just easier and more convenient for the player if the server automatically has it and it doesn’t ‘force’ players to download an alternative whitelisted client instead. I understand why the Owners removed it but, after everything I have just talked about, I would overall be a +1 to you’re idea. Thank you and have a lovely day!
I personally agree with you that heart display would be helpful especially since I run my game vanilla with no mods whatsoever. So it would be convenient for me. -Smashhhh
I have said this in other threads aswell, we are getting it added back, it was previously a bit buggy but we are getting all that resolved right now.
