On KitPvP, players are currently able to use Instant Health I potions. With the potion registration on McCentral, it's simply not enough to heal a player quickly enough to get them back into a fight. Currently, you have to splash 3-4 potions on the ground and then chug crapples to get back to full health. Health I heals 2 hearts, while Health II heals 4 hearts. A big toxicity problem on KitPvP is cleaners. A cleaner is a player that isn't involved in a 1v1, but still kills one of the players. Once a participant in a 1v1 gets to low health, a cleaner will swing in and attempt to finish off the player with low health. Switching to Health II Potions could easily fix this problem. When a player gets low, they can use their Instant Health II potions to raise their health quickly and avoid being cleaned. Health II Potions could replace Health I Potions to easily increase the intensity of a fight. Fights will become more involved and the skill cap will also be raised. Better players will be able to perform better, while worse players will have to learn new skills to compete. Players in a 1v1 will also be willing to go lower (take more damage without healing) because they have the idea that they will be able to heal quickly. It will be easier to get kills this way, and fights will become more fun.
While I like the idea this would just make players pot spam to prevent their death. You could literally pot once/twice and gapp spam and never die. I don't see this being changed and I like at as original health pots.
Do you understand the idea of having a limited amount of space in your inventory. As long as you keep the player tagged, they can only use an inventory of potions + however many they have in their enderchest.
I understand but most donors have /kit and have kits that have, not only more potions but most intermediate+ players have a Punch II bow and can just flee.
You make a good point with the fact that kits have more potions. Maybe remove potions from kits and make them only purchasable in the shop? Regarding bow boosting, a better player will be able to catch a worse player if they try hard enough.
No, KitPvP Is clearly a GAPPLE PVP gamemode not an HCF type server, please go back to velt and stop playing if it really effects you
well that was aggressive! no need to get so angry, just a forums post! Anyways, I appreciate the feedback greatly. Could you please elaborate on why you wouldn't want health II pots?
MCCentral is not a potpvp server, you would know that pots don't always register with "tacospigot", you can't bring a potionPVP community to a gapple pvp server, it just doesn't work out.. People can't rely on potions when gapples are involved.. I personally think health potions are a bit to much even though it only heals 2 hearts at max
I think pots not always registering is another reason why the pots should be health II. I understand KitPvP is gapple based, but a player can only hold so many potions in their inventory. It adds a whole new dimension of play. Players that are better with pots will be able to agro more throughout the fight once their opponent runs out. Unless there is a huge skill difference it will only be about 10 hits, but that will still be able to change a fight completely.
Exactly, you shouldn't rely on potions and you shouldn't use potions. I think health potions should be hard to get again, they're really overpowered with 6 ping (I get around 10 ping so they haven't lagged for me in years lmao)
There should be speed 2, but insta 1 is fine. If there was insta 2 people would have to splash 2 pots to get to full health, which obviously is half of what it is now, which would basically remove quickdropping as they would only have to splash twice to get all their health back. Also fights would be 2x longer, and with fights already being roughly 30 mins for a really nice fight, insta 2 would just be brutal. A way to add more skill to the server would be to add speed 2 purely because thats what all competitive potpvp servers use and it's generally better for pvp. This would also help with pot registration because with speed 1, you often throw your pot too far infront of you because of the lack of speed, but with speed 2 it would be a lot easier to pot, which would fix your concern. Hi, I would like to formally disagree. Back in the old seasons, people used to die in PvP much more often than they do now. This is because they did not carry Health potions. I feel like KitPvP has been partially been ruined because of health pots. It is so hard to kill someone when they are at 5-6 and keep throwing HPs on the ground. If there isn't a hacker problem, I feel like HPs should definitely be removed. Back to your suggestion. Health 2 pots are extremely OP. With P4/S5, potting using HP 2 potions would definitely heal you to half bar which would take approximately 12 hits to get you to die. Imaging if people had rows of HP 2s in their inventory, people will literally only die because of lag outs. This item is too OP and in my humble opinion, should not be implemented. Thanks -Recrement!
I agree I get pot lag a lot and just get a lot of lag and cant out heal the damage a player is giving off it sucks when you are in p5 )-;
Hello, I mainly agree with UnlimitedHealth, I like the current Health Pots, you can easily just eat gapples and not die! Also, you can get pots from other players when you kill them. People with Punch 2 bows can easily flee from other players, and spam gapple and get back to full Hit Points. There is no need to add Health 2 Pots. I hope this clears a little bit. If you have any questions for me just message me on discord at 4Nut#2232, or message me on my profile page!
I 100% agree with this, everyone always caries our inventories of hps which is quiet annoying. If mcc would change the hps to instant health ll then it would eliminate the amount of hps one needs to take in order to pvp. Instant health l just doesn’t do enough health with the maximum of 2 hearts of health. As I said before, I 100% agree with changing hps to instant health ll and would like to see mcc change this is the following season. ~Tyler748
