email notifications

Hey. If you click your username at the top-right and go to "Preferences", you can change if you want to receive emails on threads that you watch (which is what I assume you want to change) by checking the option below:

 

If you are on mobile, you can turn the notification through Settings-Gmail/Mail-Notifications-Allow Notifications(Off).

I believe OP is referring to managing email notifications on Xenforo, not his mailbox.

 

I guess, but I get the messages from Email on my PC, so I just thought it was the same as well. Oops

 

Step 1:
On the top navigation bar, hover over where it says your username and click "Preferences" in the dropdown menu.

Go to where it says "and receive email notifications of replies", and tick it off.

You're welcome! I'm not sure if locking your own thread has been implemented yet, but if you click "Thread Tools", there should be an option called "Lock Thread" where you can lock your thread.



However, I will contact a staff member to double-check/lock the thread for you!

EDIT: I have contacted a staff member via Discord to lock the thread.
