Robot gems

People can sell robot gems, either to others or to the server by recycling ($10k each)
Or use them for nether quartz generators (although that is $40k per block)

I can see what you are saying by theming becoming possibly useless however like what BlockyBeach said they won't be completely useless but I wouldn't think it would be a bad idea in future seasons to add a different market for these Robot gems. For example, being able to trade 3 of them for a token even though it wouldn't be a good value for your gems at the beginning of the map but as the map goes along it gives you something to do with them. Also, tokens never become useless so that's why I think trading for tokens would be one of the best options.​

Go to your account. Then select 'signature' and then you just have to select an image from your files.

 

Don't forget the Music discs for the mine, The Leather armour for the bots and The skins for the bots. These are all 10 robot gems each and there is pages of them. While it's not the most useful it is something to consider and by the time you have all that out the way and still have some left over there will still be a market for them from players trying to unlock skins etc.

 

I think the current system is fine for now. Maybe down the road, after a few seasons we can add more. I don't think anyone has unlocked every single thing yet. Once they do there is the option to sell them to the server and players.​
