I keep seeing so many new posts that are complaining about the hackers on this server, they are all pretty much just clones of each other but made by different people, the problem I have about this is that there are also good threads that deserve to be to the top more than these “hacker problem” threads, they are just pushing all these good threads to the bottom and they become dead. This is pretty annoying tbh just my opinion
I agree. You see all these threads about players complaining about the AntiCheat and how many hackers there are and whatever and then they always get the same replies stating that ‘it is being worked on’ and then the thread is locked and it just creates spam and makes the good threads not be ‘showcased’ as much. Although, once the anticheat does get fixed, then people will move on to something else to complain about. It is just the cycle of how communities work and it will never change. There isn’t really much we can do because new players will just come on to the forums to complain and not care if they recieve forum warning points or a server ban/mute. They don’t care, meaning that they can say whatever they want and highlight the worst areas of the server and it just puts negativity on the server. Thanks, Have a lovely day!
I bet this guy is a hacker. Just kidding in all seriousness, I think it helps people when they rage to make a thread about it and just vent a bit. I don't mind it, but if you don't like it you don't have to view them
I don’t really look at the threads, but it’s just annoying when they are at the top and making useful threads turn into dead ones
Hey Departition_, There is an obvious reason why people make all of these threads about hackers, it's because there are too many of them and it is disturbing there time playing on the server. They obviously don't like to play with hackers. You can't stop a revolution in a country if the government decided one day to ban mobile phones. It's kinda the same here. People are very annoyed and they want answers. Just like ImConcerned said, new players won't care if they receive a punishment, but that is one of the things staff need to do if they want to stop all of this spam or make a rule where this isn't allowed. Otherwise, you can't stop it. All we can do is wait and see what changes are made. People can always help by reporting rulebreakers and hackers on the forums :) Have a great day!
Comparing the government to banning mobile phones is not the same thing as disallowing cloned posts on a forum website. If the question can be answered with just 1 thread I think it’s pretty useless if other people to make a post that is mostly exactly the same as the original thread. Every day when I go into General Discussion I see 1-3 new posts that are pretty much the same exact description but by different people. It’s pretty annoying in my opinion.
Hey Departition, Obviously, it isn't the same as my example, what I meant is the same outcome happens. It's hard to stop a revolution, it's hard to stop a lot of hackers. I understand it is annoying to see the same thing over and over again, but you can't stop people expressing their feelings if it isn't disrespecting someone. It's kind of freedom of speech. Just ignore them and you should be good :D
A staff member could just delete their threads and the problem would be solved, you are making it sound so difficult, and then a higher up staff member could just pin the original thread till the anticheat gets fixed. 1st amendment rights are also limited too btw, doesn’t mean you can say whatever you want wherever you want, I can’t just yell “BOMB” at an airport and not get arrested. You also get warning points for useless posts and those posts are pretty darn useless.
Hey! I do see what you mean 100% but there's one thing and that is that there is no rule for that. Staff members would be abusing if they deleted the post. I'd also like to clarify that a useless post is a post that serves no meaning and is useless. All these hackers threads don't say the exact same thing, they mean the same thing and they aren't useless. There's a difference between breaking the rules and maximizing what's allowed.
