Hello. Does anyone know a recording software for free that doesn't make you lag in game? Everytime I dont record i have 50- 100 fps but when i record i get 30- 40 or sometimes 20 which makes it so no one can see the recording because it's so laggy. Thanks
I use OBS to record my gameplay and there is no difference in performence when I am using it and when I am not. Hopefully this works for you too
I also use OBS and there is literally no decrease in performance even though I run 60fps on my laptop! If you are using recording software to upload and report hackers then I would also suggest using Streamlabs instead of YouTube. It uploads way quicker and you can get the link to the video as soon as you drag the file into the tab and it starts uploading. Thank you and have a lovely day!
Oh thanks that helps me too. It's so annoying having to wait for a Youtube video to upload to report someone. Especially when I run into like 5 hackers every time I play for an hour.
If you dont have a good graphics card(or done even have one at all) try using fbx game recorder. I use it I get like 100 fps w/o recording and ill get like 70 fps while recording in 720p 60 fps. hope this helps anyone
In my opinion I agree with the others I'd personally use OBS because you can adjust the settings and adjust it to your computer like lower the bitrate if your computers more low end then high end it get's the job done if you wanna just like record hackers or gameplay.
I use action sometimes but it really messes with your CPU and pending on your settings it can mess with your performance but the quality is normally good pending how much FPS you set it to, it's a paid software but it's cracked meaning there's ways you can get it for free. I use OBS when I record my desktop usually.
