Hello, I am here to suggest in a very demanding manner but also very politely that remove the bot module where it deletes your message from using excessive caps. I believe this is from Dyno.

I don't necessarily see much point of an explanation as this is very self-explanatory; we are constantly told that Discord is more laid-back and I really do not see the harm of using CAPS on the MCC community discord as there is no rule, within my very very very large knowledge, that using excessive caps on discord is breaking a rule.

I already know that if people were to disagree with implementing this, better not, changing this terrible filter, if you may call it that, will be the people that don't speak one word in the MCC general chat and thus I really do not see a relevance input here. Everyone who is an active member of the MCC Discord community will agree with me when I say that this filter is annoying as fuck.

Why -> Because although the bot gives you a verbal warning, there's no punishment for automod if user meets x warns then he gets auto muted

Why -> No MCC discord rule regarding the use of CAPS

The use of CAPS can often add emphasis through a text message and highlight a specific phrase of words

I reckon the entire filter should be completely removed, as most of the times it ends up blocking stupid and unnecessary words/messages (i.e. the word "amusement park" gets blocked due to the fact that there's "semen" written in it). I do agree that the filter is a little stupid when it comes down to identifying potential "harming" words, let's call them that, as it's not human-made (the enabled filter is dyno's default, and might bring a little of a snowflake vibe iykwim). Just a little observation - automod doesn't mute you for excessive warning violations anymore. Hence the filter is useless. +1

Totally agree, this bot is pretty much doing nothing besides annoying people. Why was it even implemented?

Bot was implemented to make staffs life’s easier and it should only delete really severe words like Slur's. I have removed the automod for caps, That was my mistake for turning it on when I first set this up.
Definitely not lol, Right now the bot only removes a selected amount of words that I entered and it should only remove words that are exact. So it should be fine to say amusement without it being removed. Ill double check to make sure its working fine.

But yeah, the automod is not useless and wont be going anywhere. I am always open to make more tweaks to it.
