A lot of CTF has become mainly cherrypicking for kills, not many actually play to capture the flag. Adding something like domination or elimination (like search but no bomb) might be just as fun with the same maps.
As a CTF player, whilst I agree that sometimes people just want kills and leave others to the flag, this is just a playing style for them. As for your suggestions: Domination and Elimination, could you please explain further about these? Is this going to replace the Normal CTF or will there be a seperate game mode. If it is a seperate game mode, I do not think it will be too popular. People are probably going to play it for a bit but then just go back to the original. I could be wrong, but I don’t think these modified versions of a mini game will work, especially on MCCentral, where it is not too popular
It would be a different gamemode, could also turn into a mashup kind of 'mixed pvp' with CTF. You could join these mixed pvp lobbies and it would cycle through the gamemodes while keeping the same maps.
One playlist for games like TDM, Elimination (no bomb search and destroy), maybe even hardpoint/domination. Same maps, and same voting system. Or for games like elimination they could modify the maps to avoid hiding.
