Hey fellow KitPvP players and MCCentral players, We all know that KitPvP reset date is getting quite close, and with that I have an idea to propose. Mythical and Ancient gear are exactly the same except for the fact that mythical has unbreaking 4. I feel like the difference of 2.5dollars / Key is not justified by having an extra tier of unbreaking. Therefore, I think that Mythical gear should have thorns 1 added to the protection 5 for all pieces. The choice of thorns 1 is because thorns 2 or 3 on all pieces of gear would be too over-powered. The chestplate should still be able to be upgraded to thorns 3 but all the other pieces should have thorns 1 as a maximum level. I would love to hear your opinions on this matter!
Hey! I agree with your suggestion, as a level of unbreaking isn’t worth 2.5 usd. Maybe if thorns 1 was added to ancient armor sets and thorns 3 was added to mythical armor sets it’d be worth 2.5$. Also I think that thorns is only available for chestplates (mb if i’m wrong), so the owner would need to make a custom enchant that would work like thorns which would be applied to all other pieces of armor. Since that would take time I think that this would only come next season, but I’m a +1 to your idea anyways
The thorns enchant is available for every piece of armor. <3 I don’t really know about this idea because in KitPvP the fights that you have are mostly up to gapples/god apples/pots and if you have thorns it is kind of a disadvantage because it pushes the opposing player away when they hit you and then they have time to eat an apple/apply potions. I understand that Thorns is very good also though because it gets rid of bow spam and bow-sword and rod-sword combos. Maybe if, in a mythical crate key you were able to get a Thorns III book as a reward. Possibly a Thorns I book in an ancient key too. This is just my opinion but, I am not a big KitPvP player so I do not know everything about what would be good or bad or whatever. Thank you and have a lovely day!
