I'm just asking this because I used to be very active on this server during my early days here, I played very frequently at the survival server and sometimes played at the minigames however when the survival server got reset in March of 2017, all of my interest went away and it was never the same, I still come but only sparingly, such as for Creative or Prison or for a minigame like Capture the flag.

Heres a video that a filmed during the glory days (before the reset)

It was also a really short time of fun to me in the server as I joined in November of 2016 and the reset happened 4 months later, My best times on this server where only for 4 freaking months lol.

With the peak on December of 2016.

No, I never lose interest in MCC after a reset. If anything I am inclined to play more since every reset on all of our subservers brings new content and a fresh start for all players. You also get to start all the traditions and culture on the subservers.

I have never lost interest in any subserver or Minigame just because they reset. It's actually encouraging for me.

I've been on this server enough where I know things and stuff. But if I am very honest, the only reason why I am on this server is cause of friends here. Like, if I did not have friends, to be honest, I would not be on. And here is why, its the same thing, theres not much new stuff at all. No new modes, no new maps, nothin, so yeee

Haven't experienced a reset yet myself and I only play prisons. Does the reset only affect rank and money or is it more of a clean slate?

I generally feel like resetting is a positive change since it gives me more motivation to play the game, for a new player it is a chance to catch up with the big boys (Stacked player). Reset also usually come with new content and update which is also great for the player base and often bring new player to that sub-sever. Take survival plot as an example, in pre-reset survival have max 30 players and after reset survival plot got over 100 players. I hope what I said make sense since I just woke up xD

Resets are a fresh start - a new beginning for bigger and better things :)
Resets shouldn't be discouraged, instead they should be a reminder that you can do better in the upcoming season and potentially reach the top now that you've got practise up your sleeve. Although there may be downsides, as it may be a little frustrating and potentially get on your nerves seeing that all your handwork has vanished, but that shouldn't take away your interest at all!
If the server never reset, as mentioned no updates would be as exciting, and new players may not consider joining due to the fact they are disadvantaged, instead it creates a huge opportunity for new players to start playing!

I'm sorry that the fun ended for you, but there's always a chance the fun will come to you with the new reset especially! :)

Nope not at all all the resets that followed the March 2017 reset didn't bought my interest at all.

It was the reset that caused my friend to quit the server (the one that you see in the video above).

Hey CabanNieves! Hope you are having a great day :D

Personally, I am mostly a prison player and when at the end of both Prison season 6 & 7 it got really boring since a lot of prison players were quitting and there was really nothing much else to do since nothing new had been added in the past 6-8 months (Which also made me switch sub-servers for a little wile) therefor I am actually really excited for resets. This is because new items gets added, the sub-server gets a lot of attention and it just a fresh start. Although mini-games practically never get resets / revamps it is still fun to play those with your friends or whenever your bored due to the fact that you can increase your level, but if a reset / revamp does occur I would be even more addicted to MCC (:

I hope you have a lovely rest of your day / night!

I guess I understand as after prison reset for the first time, I begun losing interest - mainly because the updates sucked!! and all my friends quit and new people started coming. But things can't stay the same forever, so instead of being negative - thinking positively about resets kept me holding on :)

    Hey CabanNieves!

As a player who first logged into the server in 2014 I can definitely relate to losing interest within the server at times. But I have no lack of interest with the server during a reset. MCC resets are made to quite literally reset everything and make it brand new... With resets there usually are new changes, additions, layouts, and development. Due to this I believe that interest actually grows instead of declines. I see it very often in kitpvp, many players grow tired of the economy being so inflated and watching the dominate go around within clans late in the season and decide to take a break. Every player I come in contact with are always stoked for the next season even going as far as preparing for it saving $ for keys and such.

I also notice it within prison servers where players grow tired of grinding mob spanners constantly to rank Z9 opposed to the simplicity of mining till reaching rank Z. Much like Kitpvp the economy becomes inflated, only on a bigger scale compared to kitpvp, making the season grow stale.

Change is always a aspect of life us as human beings dislike the most. But without it I don't know where we would be. Take this comment as an expression of my personal take of your question.

As always have a great day foo...

Hey there, personally I don't lose interest during resets, but during the end of the season, where everything just becomes bland and repetitive, which is why I get really excited for resets. There was only 1 reset that I really disliked which was the 2nd prison reset from season 2 to 3, where I played the most and actually got to Z9. After that, a lot of my friends left as the next season included mob spawners and grinders, which was not as fun to play with.

For prison specifically, resets will make everyone rank A with no money, plots are reset and there is a new map. However, you keep keys as they are global and you keep your disguises and perks like /kit money or /chest.

    Hey,

I always find that if I start from scratch again it is fun and something new to grind for. It's just like when a new game comes out such as COD/FIFA you're always looking to upgrade and make yourself better. I get that you work hard to get what you have that season but if the season never reset then it would get quite boring. This is why it should reset as it keeps everyone going. :) When resets happen it also gives you chance to try out other sub servers such as Skyblock. If you're ever bored of a certain sub server just try and start playing on a different one or maybe even try minigames.

    Regards
    Desiqn/Harry

No, I'm being completely serious. In 2015 when I started playing (way before I became staff), my favorite subserver was and still is prison and I loved the evolution of the server since every reset brings new people to the subserver.

Not to mention, new and interesting items and features and gameplay enhancements.

    Resets are simply interest killer.

Also the survival/plots world pre March 2017 reset was the best, such good memories and nothing compared to the other survival worlds that followed with the resets.
