?

Do you think all people who are doing bans should be required to show their gameplay/recording

why do bans like fly or b hop not require evidence as even if there was a "blatant ban" if it was accurate but if its a false ban no one can appeal it without evidence themselves, so do you just want us to record all of our gameplay encase there is a mod who is being sneaky and wants to ban some randos. i mean in real life police in the uk at least have to have a body cam on at all times to protect themselves and others. so im thinking if a mod recorded their gameplay at all times it would stop the whole entire false bans problem.

thank you for your time reading

    Hey DiamondDom15,

The only people who complain about blatant hack bans like that, are people who did use hacks and are looking for an excuse to get unbanned after being caught.

It is very common for me to see people appealing hacks that they did because they didn't think they'd get caught. Same goes for IP bans too.

I'm going to guess you are making this post due to you being banned for bhop? Anyway...

Our moderators go through several weeks of being a helper first before being given the ability to ban; this is to ensure we trust them and trust the accuracy of their reports.
Our moderators also undergo tests and checkpoints before being promoted; as well as during their time as a moderator.

Things like bhop and fly are very, VERY easy to see, being some of the most blatant hacks. (Along with scaffold)
As such; it is of my personal oppinion that moderators should not have to record videos for those hacks, as they have been deemed trustworthy.

    -1 for me.

    Hey!
Adding onto what Kieren said with a personal note - in one busy day I can get at least 50 bans. If I were to record for every single one of those bans, my disk space would’ve run out long ago. Even as the way it is right now, I have used about 16 GB due to recorded videos. Also a -1 from me.

    Have a good day,
    Thread moved to General Discussion.

While you shouldn't need to record for every ban, and I disagree with the post as well, but you could use Replay mod if you ever want to record while going on a ban spree.

but if it was also a blatent hack the other 26 people in the arena at the time would have also seen this blatant hack which none spoke up about plus i was streaming and i have 3 other people who was actually looking at my pov and could see no speed hacks or anything like that but unfortunately the stream wasnt saved thanks to a network crash but just like my appeal response said there is no recorded evidence on my hand to save me

It's normally paired with Kill Aura, they will circle around you with erratic and quick movements making it extremely difficult for you to attack back

Alright, thanks! That crap is so annoying, usually in Skywars as soon as I see one coming for me, I jump the edge and say in chat: want my kill? Get me

My mans, if they aren’t bhopping or got obvious kill aura or hacks on them, they should be recorded, and in mccs case they ss them, even tho not everyone can meet the requirements of the vc. Moving on. What is the point of recording blatant cheaters. That’s honestly the dumbest thing I’ve heard

If this was added, it will make staff’s job 10 times harder and more time consuming. I understand you want proof, but all staff are fair here. I realy don’t see the need of it.

replay mod is a Minecraft mod where if you click "Start Recording", it will record your surroundings. After leaving a server or a world, you can then watch what you were doing in spectator mode. Not the best explanation, but hope it helps!
Also YouTube can explain more. :)

:) no problem. This should be allowed to be used in most servers. I don't think it's allowed in UHC though.

-1 for the sole reason of how many blatant hackers there are and it would absolutely destroy storage. However, I do see where you are coming from as you don't know the staff team, so it is hard to believe they wouldn't abuse their powers at all. Also, regarding what kieren said, you guys just had a moderator share their account for a week with an extremely toxic ex-staff who had perms to ban. So I don't think you can say or deem, all staff members as trustworthy. Regarding the rest of what he said, he is right that most of the time, it is people trying to get a get-out-of-jail-free card.
