Homophobia?

As I said on your other post, bringing this kind of topics into the game will only bring controversy among the server, this along so many other important topics, you have to understand that not everyone is ready to embrace the idea of talking about this topics, the best thing you can do is report them CLICKING HERE so they can get a punishment according to what they said.

I have met a few homophobes on MCC, and my advice is to remember that we are all just playing a block game and try to ignore people’s views if you dont agree with them.
Unfortunately, talking about political or controversial topics will likely end with you receiving a mute, so just ignore these people.
In my case, although I completely disagree with their very extremist views, I chose to look past that and just play the game.
Sometimes we just gotta live and let live.
If you are receiving hate, you can /cr them under disrespect, or just eignore them.
Btw gg on winning sab’s 4 corners event on skyblock, did you see me there? :)

Hey Jello! I have definitely seen what you're talking about, and sadly there isn't much respect regarding that topic. The best I can do is just tell you to ignore them. They're most likely joking and just misuse the terms, but that is in no way justifiable. Try not to take it to heart, they're low lifes for saying such things. Thank you for shining light on this topic!

 

tbh just ignore them; there are going to be jerks in this world, you just gotta learn to deal with them : (
I'm bi myself and the best thing I do is surround myself with good people and drown out the negative. But just know that for every bully you face, there are 10 more supportive people who will always have your back : )

Unfortunately, like every other server, and place in the world for that matter, there will be bad people. It is rather unfair that people can get away with saying mean, rude, homophobic, and racist things from time to time.

I completely understand your frustrations. However Minecraft Central is a place people come to hang out and have fun, and sometimes get away from the real world for a while; therefore it isn't the best place to be having controversial conversation and debate. even though I don't disagree with your beliefs you need to remember that everyone was raised differently and that is what they were taught was ok to believe in or say.

I'm sorry about your experience on the server, and I hope you have a better one soon. To better the server and get rid of toxicity, don't fuel them up by fighting back instead either /chatreport them or take a screenshot and head over to https://mccentral.org/community/forums/reports/ and fill out a player report and the players will be taken care of accordingly.
