FORUM POLL

I am more familiar with the old forums so I'd prefer it. But I'm sure sooner or alter people will grow to like the new forums.

 

I have been using both Xenforo and Enjin since I got Minecraft as I have played over countless of Minecraft Communities. It is understanding that you are more familiar with the site Enjin as that's what we've all been familiar with on MCC for the past some-odd years. I can't stress enough how better Xenforo is not only for staff moderation but for the community as a whole. People usually could post whatever they wanted on their Enjin wall and (to a degree) it wouldn't affect them on the server. Now they cannot do this as this is fully MC-Central content and no third party information is on this forum.

While I have never used this Xenforo before, This just feels/looks better, I wouldn't want to go back

Considering this is the first time I have used Xenforo I think its too soon to say whether I prefer Enjin or Xenforo. Although, my first impressions of Xenforo is nothing but positive things! This new website looks very updated and modern while Enjin looked rather outdated. I can't wait to use Xenforo and see all the amazing things it can do! I'm sure many people will talk or vote negatively of this new website simply because its different and that they have to have a fresh start, so I feel like if this poll is presented in a month or so it will yield different results.

I feel like this type of forums is slicker, neater and more modern. The background and the colour contract makes it feel good on my eyes. Even though all the old forum posts are gone, this one in time will feel like home.

This forums feel's alot more cleaner, I'm also used to it because it's the same as MCGamer's website.

 

This new website looks much better imo - I've only seen it on my phone but I hope it looks much better on the computer. The old forums were filled with old and useless posts, hopefully these new forums will get better posts.

 

As much as I loved the old site, this new one looks way better than the original. The features seem easier to navigate and feels much better on my eyes personally. The old site desperately needed an update, and I think this new update will be appreciated by everyone.

 

This site is definetly a lot cleaner. Also, it's a fresh start for everyone. Newer players have a chance to match OG's with the forum points and such.

 

Personally, I love the new forums. Everything is much easier and more up to date. I can actually sit on the forums now and chat with people and talk about ideas and answer questions without doing police level investigation work just to find a halfway-decent thread to respond to or isn't completely outdated and irrelevant. Only positive things here! :)

I am completely new to Xenforo so I completely agree with Acappella that its to soon to decide if i prefer Enjin or Xenforo as of currently im kind of more into Enjin but since this is new i will most likely adapt to it and like this better :D. Most people will probably prefer Enjin because they were use to it more and knew how to navigate, but im sure they will be able to adapt as well <3

 

Personally think the new Xenforo website fits better than the old one. Sure it was inconvenient that all the old forums posts got removed, but love how it’s a fresh start for everyone.

 

To be honest, I prefer much more the old forums in some ways, and this one in others.

- The old forums is easier to use and clearer.
- Everyone is used to it.
- You need to add all your friends again.
- A lot of things are dark and blend in which may be an issue to some people.

- The look of this forums page is much cleaner.
- The look of this forums page is much more modern.
There are other things, these are the main points I want to say.

I like both and as stated in the past I am used to the old one but I am sure I will get used to this one for sure I think it looks better then the old one.

 

I think the profiles for enjin are much better than what I've seen on xenforo so far however I'm looking forward to learning the new features of xenforo and also seeing how the mcc website can improve itself on this new platform, honestly besides posts and reports going away from before I don't think the change will be too hard to deal with.

 

I prefer Xenforo over Enjin, glad they finally made the switch. But still, fucking rip my 2,200 posts.
