Hi there. So I don't really know why this isn't in the game - or if it was before, why did it get removed? But why isn't there a /report function - it would be so much easier for staff members to ban people. People could do /report <username> <description> - then staff members will have the ability to /spectate <reported user>.

If people abuse it - only donators can use it? Or something I don't really know.

But MCC really really needs an in-game reporting function. If there is no anti-cheat there needs to be this at least!

I'm talking about in-game. So it's much easier for staff to just TP in-game and ban the hacker straightaway.

This idea has been brought up time and time again and has been seriously considered and further developed by members of the staff team. As Guih mentioned, there currently isn't infrastructure in place for staff members to spectate hackers in-game unless we join the same game as them. With the upcoming minigame revamp, these features will most likely be added in order to make catching hackers easier. Of course, the anticheat will be upgraded as well to keep them off the server in the first place.

The /report command/interface itself will also need to be thoroughly vetted, as not every player is trained to spot hacks and may report players who do not actually have any client modifications. This takes time and resources away from the staff team as we try to track down and spectate someone who is falsely reported.

For the time being, the closest thing to a /report command is using our server's community Discord. Players provide the IGNs of hackers in the #support channel consistently, which is helpful in guiding staff to watch certain players in minigames/on the subservers. I highly recommend using this existing tool as it's quick, easy, and effective. Additionally, our forum reports system is in place to handle any gameplay and client modification offenses.

Besides that, if staff members will be able to TP into started minigame then we will definitely add this command. However, at the moment it's pretty useless as we can't do much if we're not able to spectate those players straight away.
