    Hi,

So I was doing a trade with someone (it was a bulk trade of p4 armour). Since there were such large quantities, we decided that the seller would drop all the items to me on a rooftop. Conveniently, someone (Am I allowed to name drop?) decided that he would swoop in and pick up several hundred dollars of items. He says that it was because I banned him a few weeks back for TPA killing (Which I did, and anyone who TPA traps is scummy. Work for your kills and killstreaks).

So I was thinking of ways this could be prevented for other players since this has happened a few times for me and a few other people. These options may likely not possible, but it would be nice.

    1. Change the /trade menu to have more spaces, similar to the shop with arrows to have multiple pages of items, rather than just one.

    2. Make a new command like /drop (name) or something similar so the person that is receiving the items has 20-30 seconds of theft protection to pick up the items, and no one else is allowed to pick up the items (similar to having x amount of seconds in the PvP arena where no one is allowed to pick up your kills' items).

    3. Add a new warp and area to the spawn area, named /warp trading or something similar, which are private rooms where you can do trades safely without having to worry about people stealing your items. People often meet up on the rooftops of the map so people don't steal but anyone that can fly can still steal items, so private rooms would be a safer alternative. I believe this is the simplest option, but would probably be implemented next season in the new map, if ever.

Less of a problem, but still is annoying:
Another issue that comes up is when people are enchanting gear or using anvils. When you splash bottles of experience, there is a chance for people nearby to steal it, and on some occasions, people have stolen xp (A few times they were quite large amounts) from me and I see it happen quite often. Is it possible to make the xp go straight into your xp bar and act like a banknote? Or again make private rooms with enchantment tables so people can enchant without fear that their items might get lost.

Are my ideas valid? The goal of this thread is so that people actually working for their items don't get their progress stolen from someone who just wants to make a quick buck.

    Thanks,
    RyanC64

Your points are valid but I feel that the effort needed to implement these suggestions are not worth the endgoal. I have to say, the first suggestion seems really convenient, but requesting a whole new warp and command to be added to prevent something that is easily preventable in the first place seems very unnecessary. Now, the exp stealing is a common occurrence that is easily preventable by just being smart with where you go in the spawn and how quickly you splash the bottles, but I concur as it would be rather nice to not have to worry about anyone stealing a few orbs while you splash, and having the exp go straight to your hotbar doesn't seem that difficult to implement.
To summarize what I attempted to say here- The warp and command seems unnecessary but the "exp to hotbar" and the multiple pages of /trade sounds like a good idea.

Thanks for the feedback! Although the best solution is if people stop stealing in the first place :P

    Hello there!
The main reason I can't see this happening is the /trade feature only contains the same amount of spaces to fit your inventory, so adding more spaces will do absolutely nothing, as the overloaded items will still fall on the floor. I have had a similar experience, as I was actually middle manning and some excess gear fell on the floor. Luckily I was able to put some gear in /chest and it was all saved. Rather than adding extra spaces, it would be much easier for the trade to not work if either player does not have enough inventory space to receive trading items, since /trade can still fail. I will bring up this point with some staff and see what can be done about it.
    Thanks,
    Nikki

What about adding a tab similar to /ah expired that takes all the items that don't fit into your inventory? Or would that be too much effort?
