A lot of players on the server hack. Not all at once or very often but quite a few do. Often times, players would go to /report the player but then have to leave the launcher to go into the forums in the middle of a game. Not very convenient. I think a system similar to hypixel's would be good. The simplicity of it is very user-friendly. The system is /report and then the anti-cheat watches that player the most in a specific game. The anti-cheat on this server is decent but not good enough at detecting fly related hacks. If anyone reads this, please consider it in the future if you don't agree. Thank you for your time!
Hey, there isn’t too much players on this server. With that said, I feel like the system they have is pretty good. You can notify staff team on the support in discord or report on the forums. Keeping up with hackers is hard. I feel like a lot of trolling would come out of this. A player would report his friend for a inappropriate skin or something, even though their skin is appropriate. I don’t know how i feel about this one.
I also agree with above except for the "trolling" part. You can already troll with this current system so switching would not cause more trolling to occur. As for a new system, it isn't really that hard right now to report players. You upload a video and fill out 5 or 6 sections and then your done. It doesn't take more than a minute(unless you have a crappy pc) to make one, therefore I see no change needed.
Hello, gamer! In my opinion, I don't think that the reporting system is difficult because you just follow all the steps that are there, you just have to take a screenshot or a video that proves that the player is breaking the server rules, and if it is punishable the staffs will accept your report.
If you've been staff back in 2015-16, you'll know that MCC previously had a /report system on certain sub-servers (such as kitpvp), this ended up being removed due to there being bugs or other reasons. Now, I can obviously agree with the command being added and staff being able to access a list of reported users and spectate said players until they're caught cheating. I think it would be great to have this but again, this probably won't be coming, especially since minigames would require a revamp prior to this being added (so things would click smoothly). If I had the opportunity of making this command, here's how I would go about it. When doing /report <username>, it'll open up a GUI saying which type of offense you'd like to report the user GPO/ CM) then goes into Severities 1-3 and then click offense and it'll report them. As there is already a /chatreport and people constantly report people for hacks through it, if you have key words like "killaura, ka, anti, antikb, crits, bhop, fly, scaffold, etc" then it'll redirect you to using /report. Though, those are my thoughts and I like yours as well. It'd be great to have this added, as it's been recommended many times by the entire staff team and community in the past 4 years, but again, that'll be over time and until then, we'll have to stick to reporting through the forums. - Fox
hi I really do like this suggestion and I think it would be amazing. Personally it takes me a long time to make a report so I don't know what's going on if it's me or what. I usually use discord if I really want to report a player, but still that's a HUGE inconvenience. I read some of the other comments and the "Trolling" issue seemed to be one of the most popular arguments against this suggestion. But if you look at /chatreport people can troll with that too!!!! also trolling with /chatreport constantly is actually against the rules, so they can just make it the same with /report. I think /report would be a nice add on, but I'm sure the coders and whatnot probably don't want to code that command in because of the amount of people playing, this server isn't as popular as it used to be :( I play this server a lot and this "Server Suggestion" forum is designed to help active players get the best out of their gameplay and to make the server more desirable, as a player on this server this command would help me A LOT.
