I understand staff are busy and so are admins. However, they need to be more transparent with their players. For example, think about how many times people mention this anticheat problem. I find myself having to explain the situation to many people because staff members or the admins are not being transparent with their players. I think other players who are active in the forums also would agree with this. I respect the staff team a lot because of one thing I heard from someone(I forgot who) ‘MCC could’ve been a lot worse’. Another thing is the player count for minigames which are fake, there aren’t actually 700 players playing skywars(In case you didn’t know). Sticky threads are made for certain things for things like minigames and stuff. If they could make a post about the anticheat, that would be great. They need to be honest with their players because some people are angry about certain things and if not clarified, still remain with that anger. It would make me and other players happy if the admins or staff tell us honestly what’s going on with MCC. Another example would be the minigames revamp in summer. It’s a rumour and I’m saying that maybe someone important like Alex_markey could be like ‘Hey... we are making a survival games revamp’ because yes I understand it could be a surprise, but staff keep mentioning it and now I’m banking all my hope and dreams on this one rumour. if there’s anything to take from this post, I hope staff members read this post and understand: Please be honest with the community. Some things may be confidential, I understand but please try to take a view from the player perspective, and try to be transparent. It’s not easy I know, there are certain regulations and extents, but at least try. I wanna thank iTristan_ for kind of giving me this idea to make a post. It was talked about for a little while, like 2 minutes so thanks for that. Hopefully, we will see staff be more transparent.
As a staff member from months ago, we weren't told anything ahead of time unless hinted by an admin or sometimes occasionally a revamp thread, we just tell others that a revamp would be soon to come as that is what we believe as well. This is the truth and only the truth.
Good Evening! As Essentials pointed out, we do not regularly get much information from Admins. Realistically, we know about as much as everyone else does. This applies to server resets, sales, revamps and basically anything. Unless it's something I specifically have suggested and the outcome seems positive, I've got no "staff insight" on what could be seen to come on the server. While this isn't a great situation, it's difficult to have players understand. Essentially, Admins/Owners are the ones who know most of it, so asking a helper when the next reset/sale is won't get you anywhere unless it's been announced to the general public. It's not about "classified information", it's about us not being told. I can reassure you I get asked questions similar to this all the time.
