Merging Sell Wand Uses

Hello! I agree with this, because often times it's annoying to have to grab a new sell wand every time one runs out. It would be great if I could just have one sell wand with lots of uses, or making them all into 7500 use sell wands as you said. This could also be helpful, if for instance, someone wanted to sell a 500 use sell wand but they had 2 250 use sell wands. They could merge it to get to the 500 and sell it that way. Maybe there could also be a way to withdraw uses from a sell wand into a new sell wand, so that someone could take a 7500 use sell wand and sell it as 500 use sell wands, or 1000 uses, which are more convenient for most players to buy. I don't know how that would work, though. Maybe they could add it as an option in the GUI that you get when you right-click them. Certainly a +1, I hope to see this getting implemented next season!

For players with spawners n' such, I think this could be an amazing idea! Though, I think the merging could have a maximum amount. For example, players could probably get 100,000,000,000 uses by the end of a season.... which is a little extreme really. Although a maximum amount could be implemented with this idea, I think that this would be really great as players wouldn't always have to buy new ones or unlock ancient/mythical keys to obtain them.

I think this is a great idea! Personally, it is really annoying having to grab a new sell wand all the time. I like your idea a lot and I also agree on the cap being 7500 uses. The only thing I could see happening if this was implemented, is that their would be some sort of price to merge them or it would become a perk of a donor kit. Overall though, great idea! +1

I agree with you on this one. This is a good idea, people have sell wands with like 300 uses, and they might have one with 11, etc. I feel like this idea is simple and reasonable. Combining sell wands would be useful. I see people with grinders and they run out of sell wand uses so they should be able to combine them together, so they dont keep running through wands as easily. Im with this 100% and I hope to see this added into the new skyblock reset! Reasonable, and simple concept +1 Hope to see you around! Have a nice day/night!

I'll say it straight up, great idea! I believe people should be able to merge these things on all subservers. For example, rename scrolls on KitPvP, sell wands on skyblock and ext. This is because the inconvenience of having singular ones is very high.
Maybe we could make it so that players with a certain rank could have it or it might cost a certain amount to do.
Maybe it is free for some ranks and for lower ranks it cost a price. Something like this is nice.

I agree with you! I personally don't see any reason to why this shouldn't be added. Besides, merging them would increase the price if you were wanting to sell the 1 with the most uses rather individual ones with smaller uses. It would also be much more convenient using them for yourself too as mentioned. I also agree with what Controlleur said, as adding the option to merge rename scrolls and such would be great too! Anyways great idea and I really hope this is added to the sub servers !!

Hey, @Superfight123 I totally agree with you for a thing that you are able to merge two sell wands idea. The reason for this is because I do not like having multiple sell wands because it can clog my inventory if I have a bunch of sell wands. I think having the ability to merge sell wands to get more uses will help prevent from having multiple sell wands which will clear some inventory space. Let say I have two sell wands that are both have 7500 uses if I want to merge them it will be 15000 uses in total. I think there should be a merge sell wands command and the command should be /merge wand or /m w for short. I think the cost to merge sell wands should be 10 levels of XP. Overall it is a +1 for adding a thing to be able to merge sell wands and have yourself a wonderful day or night.

 

Imagine dropping your 500k use sell wand in the void by accident, that would end the map for you.

I do agree with you, it would be nice to have rather than a whole dub of sell wands to have only one in which you can put in your enderchest and doesn't take up much storage. But also having a limit how many you can merge. As Fasilisnt said above, it would be very upsetting if you were to drop your 50k+ sell wand into the void haha. Agreeing with others as well, i don't see why this shouldn't be added it is a very smart idea. Or perhaps you could split sell wands and sell them on /ah for more money as well.

I do not actually think that this should be implemented. As fasilisnt and Melodieee said above, dropping/losing a sell wand with an extreme amount of uses would suck. Also, having a sell wand with a high amount of uses, say 20k, would make selling it a lot more difficult as it would have to sell for a lot. It’s a lot easier to sell sell wands that have 500-2k uses, as they wont be as expensive to purchase. Further more, they are sell wands... you’re not exactly going to have a dub of them that you need to combine... This idea wont really help you that much, it a very unnecessary thing in my opinion.

Brilliant idea, I 100% agree with this as I have so many sell wands and they take up space in my ender chest and it would be so useful if I could combine them to save space in storage. +1 from me

I understand why you wouldn't want to merge your sell wands, but if this was implemented it would be optional so you dont have to merge them.

 

I think this is a great idea and can also have helpful effects to the economy. For example, if a player was interested in buying a 750-use sell wand from another player (ie: they only have enough money for this many uses), the seller could simply merge a 250 and 500 use sell wand in order to provide this as a product. However, I feel that there should be a cost associated with merging the wands. I believe the cost should involve a token price, as sell wands are mostly used by players who have large ore shops and make profit off of these rather than mining. Requiring tokens to merge the wands would mean that these players need tokens, encouraging them to mine. Of course, the shop owners could also purchase the tokens from another player, but this is still beneficial as it moves money around in the economy and still promotes mining for these tokens.

 

I would love to see this added because it would not only help clear space in your ec but it could help you from having to find your sell wands say you lose them and only have the one to use for the entire time.

Hey there. I completely agree with your suggestion. Sell wands should be merged - not only to save space - but it just feels necessary. Having one sell wand with 500 uses left - would be much better than two with 250. Maybe you could even possibly have a command to split the uses; in case you would only like to sell a portion of the uses. Great idea.

I think this is a great idea. If one was about to run out of uses, you could just combine one with another so that you dont have to worry as much about the uses
