Will we see any change in the forum rules as we see this new website? Before defining a useless post on Enjin was easy and warning points were given out to people who spam the forums. Will we see a different punishment system or is the team trying to come up with a way to integrate Warning Points? (I know Xenforo has a punishment system, but it's not setup by default)

I am saying this because people tend to post a lot more on Xenforo compared to Enjin. So I am curious to see how posts and punishments are going to be handled and given out.

A useless post is whatever staff don't like/agree with. They let people make posts about other games, but then remove my post where I made an MCC staff tier list (completely for comedy) because it was mildly offensive to them.

I was more referring to the "Spam" part of things. With excessive posting.

Something posted in a category that has nothing to do or is just "spam and unrelated" like if someone posted If someone said "Any1 wanna play survival games!?!?!?!?!?!" but they posted that in every single channel.

Or for useless if someone just makes a post called "Hi" In a random channel

Edit: my bad misread what you were trying to say, I think maybe there SHOULD be some leniency, considering the immense amount of new posts with the launch of this website

This was not the intention of the post. I understand what a useless post is. I understand how you can be punished, I understand the server's rules. I am asking if there is going to be more leniency when it comes to punishing or if everyone is held to the same standards as they were on Enjin.

Or Maybe, (as this is a discussion) you can think of some ways how they should tackle this? I feel like it should be changed as you're going to be getting a lot more messages on here than you would on the Enjin site. I make sure all my posts are worthy and useful of posting so I am not worried about getting punished myself I am just in the thought of other community members.

I don't really see a reason to be more lenient. I believe the rules are as fine as they are. If any problems arise from these rules, they should change, definitely.

i can see where you’re coming from to be more lenient on forums rules; however, i think they’re doing ‘aight the way they are, as of now. i wonder how they would punish for thread responses/replies that aren’t relevant to the thread/appropriate; i remember seeing a number of those on enjin. i also wonder about thread bumping... like how staff would punish for thread bumping. AlsoALsO with xeferno, im not 100% sure how their punishment system works, but ik that if you were to comment on someone’s wall who was blacklisted because you know them from another server, you wouldn’t have to sweat too much since the servers and accounts are separate across xeferno.
sorry this doesn’t really address your thoughts on thread spamming n’ all that.

So what you're saying is there are no forum rules as of now? Isn't that one of the first things that should be done before releasing a forum site?

There are forum rules, but any rules affected by the new Website will be announced later.

Also going to lock thread as it was answered in a couple of ways :)!
