Buy a better anti-hack because now it’s impossible to play on cakewars, kit pvp or ALL THE OTHER *** SERVER ! Now i think that all the players are tired to play on mcc because of the hackers. They fly, they killaura, they have reach and nothing can stop them ! But on hypixel they cant use that... why you dont use the same thing ?
The current anitcheat ran into some issues during a recent update and it is being worked on as much as possible and all developer staff are working so hard to get it out and back to normal, if not better, as soon as possible. « Staff are working so hard »... why in the server we can’t do the command /report ? We can only do /chatreport but its not useful at all the chatreport ! It’s been over two months that the anticheat doesn’t work ! The players are leaving gradually because of the hackers, the only thing to do is to buy an other anticheat like on hypixel or to give use access to the command /report. I will not spend my time to report on the forum all the hackers because on skywars or cakewars there is almost one in each game and because the staff will say : « there is not enough evidence. It’s a shame because with the anticheat it would be a very good server.
All you need is an uploaded video that shows the hacker (with his name) blatantly hacking. I have over 275 accepted reports in the last week and it is not that hard to report someone. It usually takes me less than 2 minutes to upload the video, type the report and submit.
Don’t you think it's pathetic 275 report in a week that could be blocked by anticheat? I will not spend my time to record, upload the video and after post the video on the forum because in the meantime I will already fall against other hacker.
No one is forcing you to report anyone. You know MCC has a wide range of sub-servers that have got barely anything got to do with pvp that you could try out too? You will not find many hackers there. (Skyblock, Prisons, Creative, Survival)
I'd avoid pvp if you're competitive until they get it fixed. For recording, you can use almost any nvidia or amd card to set up a button that saves the last 5 minutes of footage for you with no perforamnce loss, and if not it's possible you can set up obs to always record with small file sizes at minimal performance hit. I've really been thinking of making a recording tutorial on the forums, and I should have time to next week. I see so many people in discord asking about how to do it or have it set up to be quick to activate.
It's just really easy: run OBS on the background and use your set keybind to record. /report isn't implemented due to various reasons. One of them: abuse of the command.
You'd be surprised at how many people configure obs wrong. It's very simple for you or I who understand video stuff, but not others. With the obs option, I'd like to cover the difference between nvenc and cpu encoding, as well as how to make cpu encoding work for you on a machine that doesn't support nvenc but is like a shitty laptop or something (right settings, thread allocation). Also, how to choose the right settings to pretty much always record have extremely small file size while being good enough to work with. The nvidia or amd options using the gpu encoder are easy to set up though and much better for this to have a button that just saves the few minutes before you hit it. Either way, I think we need a thread to start pointing people in discord to when they complain about recording evidence.
We cannot simply "buy a new anti-cheat", it's hard to get a decent anti-cheat. As well - we work on the anti-cheat as well, if you find any issues with it, just make a bug report. Staff are online constantly and we do try our best to rid the server of cheaters, but it's hard to catch every single cheater. Complaining won't get rid of cheaters, every single minecraft server struggles with this exact issue, including Hypixel. You can find updates on the anti-cheat posted here. Thread Locked
