What do you guys think of the new website? What could be improved? Personally I really like the way it looks as well as the way it functions. I can't wait to explore the rest of the website!
In my opinion the new website should show you yours stats from the previous for example, player reports and forums posts.
KingKottlewing, I have used the site before over the years in other Minecraft communities. Honestly, although it isn't complete it is amazing how it is. They nailed the theme, the drop-down menus, each subforum, couldn't have done better in my opinion. What I think is really odd is, I was saying like two weeks ago MCC should get Xenforo (really I've been saying that for years) but it is nice to finally see it actually in front of me! You can go to your profile by clicking your name in the upper right top corner. Then go to "Postings" you will see any posts you have made there.
Personally I completely enjoy and and 100% for this new Website change. Enjin has been around for years and personally I feel like it's a bit outdated. I feel like this site is a bit snappier and faster when it comes in loading into pages.

Hey! I personally love the new look of the website! It looks much sleeker and more modern than the old Enjin site. Not to mention I love exploring new things and love new changes. There are a couple unfortunate things about it, like losing our old forum posts and our reports. But that is something minor to lose for something completely new and fresh.
Hello, The way the server website was hosted was completely outdated. I know it is a change of look after years, but I am happy we have decided to step into a new look. Something I have already noticed is if you accidentally go back onto your previous page your draft is saved and you can write onto it more which is something I really like. c:
I definitely like the fact that this website looks a lot better on mobile devices. Also, not having to wait 5 seconds for verification from Enjin is nice. I'm pretty sure emojis need to be added, as well as a feature to tag people.
The staff worked absolutely RESTLESSLY for hours and hours trying to get that to happen, but no success. The best they could do was transfer stats for those currently in the application process for the next 30 days. If you cannot successfully report 50 players and create 20 forum posts in the next month, you will have to COMPLETELY restart every requirement for the application process. As for the website, I don't particularly like the Imgur method of uploading evidence for player reports. I believe I understand WHY they did it, just not my favorite thing haha.
You can also use other photo uploading sites by just leaving the link. It's not too much for the server to ask players to upload evidence to a link opposed to directly uploading an image.
Right, I completely understand why they did it and the practical reasoning behind it. Just didn't enjoy reports getting switched up on me i guess haha
Hey! I guess it is just a bit annoying having to restart everything but we will get used to it, There is a nice format but I also like how people can chose there own profile pictures as characters aren’t really neccasary! I look forward to seeing more stuff here
I am honestly loving the new website and everything that comes with it!! I know there are still some things to fix up and add but even the way it is now im absolutely loving it! I'm still getting used to it and figuring out how it works. I hope we can use emojis some how that would be amazing to add :D
I love the new website! Most likely there are some more things that are gonna be done for the website later on. But everything so far looks amazing!
Hey there! In my opinion the new website looks really good! I think it's so much better than Enjin even though I'm still trying to figure out how everything works. Enjin was also kind of outdated, I believe that adding this new website to replace it was a great idea. :)
As someone who's been around for over 5 years now, I'm also pretty excited that MCC made the change over to Xenforo. This is a lot cleaner and you can fit more information onto a couple pages. The staff page in particular looks awesome. It'll take a while for everyone to get used to it and there's definitely gonna be some confusion and anger over it, but a lot of us would also say that this was for the best. One thing I did notice is that there isn't a suggestions subforum anymore? We have community tickets that are directed to Media/CE but that's about it. Having the suggestions forum was really nice even if a lot of the suggestions weren't the best. I could be missing something obvious but that's the only thing that caught my eye so far. If I'm missing super obvious then please tell me lol. Will definitely say that as someone who had nearly 4000 forum posts on Enjin, seeing my posts back down this low is a bit of a shame but it's also really cool to start fresh. I'm sure a lot of others think the same. :)
